Time Skip – One Year Later
A full year passed.
A year of silence from the world… and relentless training from me.
Every single day, I worked.
I trained my body, my chakra, and my mind. And by now, I had become completely proficient in water chakra control.
I wasn't just shaping water into forms anymore—I was redirecting waves, condensing streams into precise jets, heating water through chakra friction, and most importantly… drawing moisture straight from the atmosphere.
No hand seals.
No pre-set jutsu.
I was using pure chakra manipulation—something only chakra masters or Kage-level shinobi could typically do. And I did it all within eight months.
In parallel, I resumed practicing Senju Taijutsu. My body had matured just enough to handle the rigorous movements without injuring myself. Every strike, stance, and motion began to imprint itself deeper into my muscle memory.
(Author's Note:
Ren's teenage and child appearance is featured on the Auxiliary chapter within comments—white hair, blue eyes, a lean but strong frame. A mix of nobility and calm ferocity.)
After mastering water, I moved on to earth chakra.
Tsunade gave me the basics: to learn to manipulate terrain, shift rock, create constructs from nothing but earth and will. So I started again—at the bottom.
And as expected, my [Perfect Chakra Control] talent carried me forward. Every technique felt intuitive after some trial and error.
Now, I'm five years old.
I have just one more year before I join the Ninja Academy.
It'll be the first time I ever set foot outside the Senju compound.
Strange thought… how much of the world I've trained for, but never truly seen.
Meanwhile, the village remained relatively calm. The Third Hokage, ever the balancing figure, managed to keep the simmering political conflicts from boiling over. But beneath the surface… there was decay.
Danzo Shimura continued his dark work—dispatching Root spies, carrying out assassinations, suppressing dissent under the guise of protecting the village.
And on the brighter side, one name began to emerge through the whispers in the streets:
Minato Namikaze—the Yellow Flash.
The next big light for Konoha… though for now, the Sannin had all withdrawn to their own paths.
Time Skip – Four Months Later
Today started like any other.
I was experimenting—testing my water and earth chakra manipulation together, trying to create mud constructs by combining them.
But then…
I decided to try something new.
I infused a drop of natural energy into the chakra mixture.
And then, it happened.
From the mud at my feet…
a tiny green sapling sprouted.
I froze.
My heart stopped.
For a moment, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Wood Release.
I had awakened Wood Release.
I just stared, stunned, unsure whether to laugh, cry, or scream in disbelief.
This was the legendary power of my bloodline. The unique trait of Hashirama Senju himself. The very reason why the First Hokage was called the God of Shinobi.
And now… it was awakening within me.
I tried it again—concentrating carefully, mixing water and earth chakra, then gently guiding in that invisible, quiet thread of natural energy. The soil trembled slightly... and another sapling emerged.
No jutsu. No seal.
Just chakra. Just nature.
And that's when the truth hit me.
Wood Release only manifests through a connection with nature.
It wasn't just about elemental compatibility—it was about natural energy resonance.
That's why Hashirama could use it. His sage mode made him attuned to the flow of the world.
And Tsunade, despite having both chakra elements, couldn't. Because she couldn't feel nature.
But I could.
Because of my talent—[Perfect Nature Attunement].
Tsunade arrived just as I was testing it for the third time.
I didn't hesitate.
I called her over and showed her.
She watched, speechless, as I grew another tiny sprout from the earth.
Her eyes widened.
Her breath caught.
"W-What… Ren?"
Before I could explain, she immediately scanned the perimeter with her chakra. I knew she was checking for spies. She must've thought the same thing I did—this couldn't be allowed to leak.
Luckily, the training ground was sealed, protected with multiple layers of chakra barriers. No one could see in. I had chosen this spot for a reason.
Tsunade rushed to me, grabbed my hand, and pulled me inside the house.
She slammed the door shut, sealed it with a privacy barrier, and looked me in the eyes—serious, wide-eyed, and more shaken than I'd ever seen her.
She whispered, almost in disbelief:
"Ren… do you even understand what you've just done?"
