The next day, at the entrance of the King County Family Court.

Standing by the entrance, Charles froze, clearly not expecting to see me get out of a Knight family car.

“Natalie, you’ve been through a lot lately.”

The car window rolled down, and only then did he clearly see the man beside me.

He looked at Logan as if facing a formidable enemy. “Mr. Knight, what brings you here…?”

In his mind, we were here to withdraw the divorce petition.

Logan unfolded his long legs from the car, closing the door nonchalantly.

“I had some business to take care of. Of course, I had to come.”

Charles didn't dare ask any more questions. Seeing my displeased expression, he probably just thought I was still angry.

It wasn't until my lawyer appeared in the hallway of the King County Superior Court and handed us a Final Divorce Order, stamped with the court's official seal, that he realized things had slipped out of his control.

His expression turned ugly.
