I’m at chapter 14 and so far this story’s been a blast. I love how unhinged the madness options are and how the operators pull a “Sasuga Ainz-sama!” gaslighting themselves into thinking the doctor being unhinged as hell is actually a result of genius planning. I don’t know much about Arknights so I don’t know how faithful the characters and whatnot are to the original but the fact that’s the story’s so enjoyable despite me not knowing much of Arknights probably counts for something? No clue. And the doctor (or the guy transmigrated as him) is great. Usually in these types of stories when the more “unhinged” option gives better results, the protagonist drags their feet on it and just do the bare minimum to get the rewards. But this guy goes all in then above and beyond, continuing to be a menace even after getting the system reward. All in all, I’ve really enjoyed reading this so far and am excited to see what comes next!
