## Chapter 33: Joining the Adventurers and the Official Mission

With their new resources, Lux and John headed to the main Adventurers' Guild in the kingdom. The guild was a massive building teeming with adventurers of all races and backgrounds, exchanging stories, drinking, and taking on quests.

"We'll use aliases," Lux told John. "I'll be 'Raven' - a name they won't easily forget, but one that won't reveal my true identity."

"And I'll be 'Shadow Ghost'," John replied with a hidden smile. "Very fitting for my reputation."

Lux and John presented themselves as experienced adventurers, well-resourced and eager to join the guild. After some initial vetting and presenting some artifacts as "joining fees," the officials accepted them.

"To officially join as a team, you must complete a test mission," said the guild official, a strong-built woman with old scars. "Your mission will be: to eliminate the goblin tribe that has settled in the Northern Caves and has begun attacking merchant caravans."

"A goblin tribe?" John asked, sounding a bit bored. "Such a simple mission."

"Don't underestimate the goblins," the official warned. "Their tribe is large, and they have a powerful leader. Many adventurers have tried and failed."

"We accept the mission," Lux said confidently, his eyes gleaming. He knew this mission would be an opportunity to showcase their abilities and establish their reputation as an effective and powerful team.

After obtaining maps and information, Lux and John set off towards the Northern Caves. This mission was more than just an accomplishment; it was the beginning of their journey to build their organization and attract new members. They had to prove that they deserved the fame they sought.
