He looked at me, his eyes filled with a pain that could drown a person.


“Diana, please give me one more chance, won't you? I know I was wrong.”


I pointed at the main gate. “Don’t die here and dirty the Shadowfang Pack’s land!”


Gavin called for the guards and had Adrian and his men thrown out.


“Cancel all dealings between the Shadowfang Pack and the Silvermoon Pack. All werewolves from the Silvermoon Pack are forbidden from entering any of our pack's territories.”


“And as for this place, he is never to set foot in here again!”


I followed them out and told him he didn't need to add that last part.


Gavin's expression shifted, and he asked me nervously, “Do you still feel sorry for him?”


I punched him with a thud. “Did that knock some sense into you?”


“How could I possibly have feelings for a man who killed me twice? I told you not to worry about him because his life ends today.”
