EPISODE 14: "A GLIMMER OF HOPE

## Maya's POV

We walked for hours, the city's lights blurring together as we tried to escape the darkness. Aisha's hand was still clenched in mine, her eyes red from crying.

As the sun began to rise, casting a golden glow over the city, I saw a glimmer of hope. Maybe we could start anew, leave the past behind.

Aisha's voice was barely above a whisper. "Maya, look."

I followed her gaze to a small café, its doors

open, inviting us in. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted out, and my stomach growled in response.

## Aisha's POV

We stepped into the café, the warmth enveloping us like a hug. Maya ordered us a

couple of coffees, and we sat down, sipping the hot liquid in silence.

As I looked at Maya, I saw the determination in her eyes. We would get through this, together. The glimmer of hope grew brighter, and I felt a sense of resolve forming within me.

Maya's voice was soft. "We'll rebuild our lives, Aisha. We'll find a way."

## Fatima's POV

I sat in my dark apartment, the weight of my secrets crushing me. I'd lost my daughters, and I didn't know how to get them back.

But as I thought about Maya and Aisha, I saw a glimmer of hope. Maybe I could make things right, apologize, and start anew.

I stood up, determination coursing through my veins. I'd find my daughters, and I'd make amends.

## Scar-faced Man's POV

I watched the café from across the street, my eyes narrowed. The sisters were in there, sipping coffee and laughing.

My phone buzzed, and I answered, my voice low. "Yes?"

"We've received a tip," a voice said. "The sisters are hiding in a café downtown."

I smiled, my plan unfolding perfectly. I'd get to them soon, and this would all be over.

But as I looked at the café, I saw Fatima standing outside, her eyes locked on the door. My smile faltered. What was she doing here?
