While they celebrated, Tamaraumiebi noticed the pressure was taking a toll on Immaculate.
"You've seemed a bit distant, love. Is everything alright with you?" he inquired with a calm voice, concern etching his brow.
"It's just... I feel the weight of our responsibility that's ahead of us," she admitted politely, her vulnerability laying bare. "I want to keep us moving forward even to the last breath of our lives, but sometimes it feels overwhelming."
Tamaraumiebi took her hands, grounding the moment. "We're in this together, remember? Let's share the load. Your well-being is just as crucial to me and our mission as well."
Recognizing the importance of balance in term of making up to their dreams and their relationship, they began to implement regular check-ins on each other, prioritizing not just the center's needs but also their relationship. They began to schedule short getaways and simple evenings together to give love and bonding more chance, rekindling joy amidst their work and cherishing one another.
"I didn't realize how much I needed this," Immaculate admitted one night, laughter echoing in the air as they cooked dinner together.
