The last incident brought Gina and I closer. She began to ask me to help her with math, physics, and even some small problems in life.
"I've been thinking about this question for a long time but I still can't figure it out." Gina sat next to me with a workbook in her hand. The faint fragrance on her body distracted me a little.
"Look here, the value range of x should be positive numbers." I pointed at the question and tried my best to make my voice sound normal.
"Oh, so that's how it is." She suddenly realized and drew circles on the paper with the tip of her pen. "You are really amazing."
In the cafeteria, we often sit together to eat. Other students will give us strange looks, but we don't care.
"Why do you always eat so little?" I looked at the almost untouched food in front of her.
"Losing weight." She picked a bite of greens and frowned. "Girls have to keep in shape."
"Where do you need to lose weight?" I couldn't help but say.
She glared at me but couldn't hide the smile on her face.
That evening, we wandered around the campus. The setting sun dyed the entire campus golden.
"You know what?" Gina said, walking beside me. "I used to be really scared of you."
"Why?"
"Everyone says you're a monster, with a wolf following you." She glanced at me furtively. "Now I realize you're actually very gentle."
My heart warmed, but I remained calm on the surface. "It's just a rumor."
"Oh, I remembered a joke." She suddenly stopped, her eyes sparkling. "A student dozed off in class, and the teacher asked him, 'Why did you sleep?' The student replied, 'Because there was a beautiful woman waiting for me in my dream.' The teacher asked again, 'Then why did you wake up?' The student said, 'Because the beautiful woman said she was going to find another man.'"
She started laughing first, laughing so hard that she almost cried.
"This joke is not funny at all." I deliberately made a straight face.
"It's just funny." She laughed even harder, her body becoming a little unsteady.
I grabbed her wrist and let her stand steady. She looked up at me, with my shadow reflected in her eyes.
The light of the setting sun shone on her face, making her skin even whiter. Her eyes were big and bright, looking straight at me.
I felt my heartbeat quicken and the blood rush through my veins.
I slowly lowered my head. She didn't dodge but just closed her eyes gently.
Our lips touched gently, so lightly, like a feather skimming across the water.
Her lips were soft and had a light minty scent.
"Ding Dong! Congratulations to the host, Gina's favorability has increased to 35%."
When we separated, her face was as red as a ripe apple.
"You...how could you do this?" She covered her mouth with her hands, her voice trembling.
"I'm sorry." I said, a little flustered. "I didn't expect that..."
"Idiot." She interrupted me, but there was a smile in her eyes. "I didn't say I didn't like it."
The bell for evening self-study rang in the distance, and we all felt reluctant to leave.
"Would you like to have dinner together tomorrow?" she asked.
"Of course." I nodded.
She turned and ran towards the dormitory, her back as light as a deer.
I stood there, touched my lips, and could still feel the tenderness.
So this is what it feels like to be in love.
The next day we met at the night market next to the Internet cafe.
"How does it taste?" I handed Gina a skewer of grilled squid.
"It's a little spicy." She stuck out her tongue and exhaled hot air.
The night market was bustling with people, and various snack stalls were emitting tempting aromas. I bought two cups of milk tea and handed one to her.
"Thank you." She took the milk tea and carefully inserted the straw.
An uncle selling candied haws pushed a cart and passed by us, shouting something.
"Tanghulu, sweet and sour Tanghulu!"
"I want to eat that." Gina pointed at the red candied haws.
"Boss, two skewers please."
"Young man, your girlfriend is so beautiful." The uncle handed over the candied haws with a smile.
Gina blushed, lowered her head and said nothing.
We continued walking forward, and the crowd became denser and denser. A fat man came over with a hot pancake and almost bumped into Gina.
"Be careful." I reached out and held her.
Her hands are small and soft, and feel warm in my hands.
"There are so many people." She leaned towards me nervously.
I took her hand and interlocked our fingers.
"Don't be afraid, I will protect you."
She nodded and let me lead her through the crowd.
We walked from one end of the night market to the other, buying all kinds of snacks: octopus balls, stinky tofu, grilled lamb skewers, she wanted to try every one of them.
"Why do you have such a small appetite?" I watched her eat only half of the pancake.
"I can't eat anymore." She patted her belly.
"Then you are not allowed to talk about losing weight."
"I know." She acted coquettishly towards me.
After leaving the night market, the streets became much quieter. The street lights stretched our shadows very long, and her hand was still in my palm.
"It's already ten o'clock." She checked her phone.
"I'll take you back to the dormitory."
When we got downstairs to the dormitory, I suddenly grabbed her hand.
"Come with me."
"Where are you going?"
I didn't answer and just pulled her towards the grove nearby.
The moonlight shone on us through the leaves, and her face flickered in the light and shadow.
"I want to go back." She spoke in a low voice, her face red as if water was about to drip out.
"Let me kiss you before you leave."
"No." She shook her head but did not step back.
I reached out and stroked her cheek.
"Just for a moment."
She bit her lip and avoided his gaze.
I slowly lowered my head and she closed her eyes. Our lips met again.
"Ding Dong! Congratulations to the host, Gina's favorability has increased to 37%."
When they separated, her face was burning badly.
"You are such a bad person." She patted my chest.
"Then how do you plan to punish me, a bad guy?" I raised my eyebrows.
She changed her previous shy expression, stood on tiptoe and kissed him.
She had already taken the initiative. So this time it couldn't be solved by a kiss. I pried her mouth open, wanting to find out more.
His hand quietly reached in from her waist. I could feel her changes.
I moved my hand up slowly. She grabbed my hand and stopped me.
"Be good, let me touch you." I kissed her ear and said softly.
She loosened her hand and let my hand move upward. It felt so good, so tender, big and tender. Her body began to tremble as I stroked it.
"Hmm..." She moaned softly and hugged my neck tightly with her hands.
The voice of the Blood Wolf sounded in his mind: "Master, someone is coming this way."
I woke up instantly and quickly withdrew my hand. As expected, footsteps were heard in the distance.
"Be good and go back." I pushed her away, my voice a little hoarse. "If you kiss me again, I'll kidnap you."
Her face was red as if water was about to drip out, and her clothes were a little messy.
"Hateful." She hit me lightly, but her eyes were full of attachment.
I helped her tidy up her clothes, but I felt a little reluctant.
"Ding Dong! Congratulations to the host, Gina's favorability has increased to 45%." The system's voice sounded at the right time.
"Will we meet again tomorrow?" she asked, biting her lip.
"Of course." I kissed her forehead. "Wait for me to find you."
She turned and ran towards the dormitory, and after a few steps she looked back at me.
"Remember to think of me." Her voice floated in the night wind.
I stood there and watched her back disappear into the dormitory building.
