The U.A. Forest Training Camp [Part 2]

"You're right, Uraraka. That villain is evil. Don't worry, he will pay for everything he's done." He said in a comforting tone as he put a hand on her shoulder.

"Thanks, Mineta. I really appreciate you listening."

"Hey, don't even mention it. I'll see you later."

***

As Mineta stepped away from the camp area and went deeper into the forest. The air around him shattered like glass, and in his place stood a tall, athletic-muscular figure, dressed entirely in white.

Harbinger stood within the forest and gazed at the tree beside him. His eyes fell on the corpse of a boy, with an absurdly short build and purple balls on his head. His corpse was pinned to the tree bark by five glass-like, colourless swords.

Rustle. Rustle.

He turned his head as he heard steps on the grass and leaves. He saw Toga, Dabi and Twice approach.

"So? What did you guys find out?" Harbinger asked Dabi, while dismissing four of the swords, and pulling out the last from the real Mineta's body.

"Hey Harbinger/WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!!??"

"Eehe~hehehe~heehee~"

Both Harbinger and Dabi ignored Twice, who was muttering incoherent nonsense, and Toga, who was gleefully poking and stabbing Mineta's lifeless corpse.

"As we expected, the hero team 'Wild Wild Pussy Cats' is here. And no surprise—Eraserhead, Present Mic, Midnight, Vlad King, and Ectoplasm showed up too."

"What is interesting, however, is that All Might isn't here. Instead, they brought along two heroes from the top 10—the heroes Mirko and Kamui Woods."

Harbinger hummed thoughtfully. He'd joined this mission at the last minute and hadn't been assigned a specific role in the League's plan.

For now, he was a wildcard, free to act as he pleased as long as he didn't interfere with anyone else's objectives.

"Well, you guys do whatever you want," Harbinger said at last.

"I already have some targets in mind."

Dabi raised a brow. "And who would those be?"

"The first is Eraserhead. I don't like leaving unfinished business. I think it's only right I finish him off." For a moment, Dabi thought he saw Harbinger's golden eyes turn red.

"As for the second..." A wide smile curled across his face.

"I'm thinking about that green-haired kid. Mostly for the same reason. And maybe that engine guy who saved him."

It was then that Toga rose from her crouched position. Harbinger could tell that her movements were stiff and unnatural, turning her head robotically at him.

Her eyes were dull and hollow like a doll, and her voice was threatening.

"I won't let you lay a hand on my Izuku."

Twice, suddenly popped up from behind. "Let's all get along!/NO!!"

"She's scary when she's in love!/This is great!!"

Harbinger raised an unimpressed brow and turned to Dabi. "My Izuku? When exactly did... that happen then?"

To which Dabi shrugged. "I don't know, and to be honest. I don't really think I care."

"Fine, Toga," Harbinger said, but then a smirk came across his face as he had an idea.

"Let's play a game, then. Whoever finds the vegetable boy first gets to kill him." At the prospect of a game, especially a bloody one. Toga's eyes shone like diamonds.

"Oooh! That sounds fun!"

Harbinger smiled at that, and as he saw Dabi give him a look, he knew it was time.

"Now then, let's begin."

***

Harbinger walked along the mountain path. He had heard from Dabi that this was where Muscular was.

'I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do once I get there. Maybe I'll just kill him. Hmm... Depends on how he's acting.'

'Well... Either way, it's a good vantage point. So I guess I can decide what to do once I get there.'

Harbinger finally reached his destination, and the sight before his eyes made him raise his brows slightly.

"K-KHHK—GKK—S—!"

Muscular stood casually with his hand clamped around the throat of a small, young boy, pinning him to the wall of the mountain.

Muscular noticed Harbinger's approach and turned, saying to him with a savage grin on his face.

"Hey, Whitey. Find your own prey, this one's mine."

Harbinger raised a brow and said dismissively with a wave of his hand. "You can have the boy."

Muscular had no complaints with that, and with a stronger squeeze—

Crack!

Kota's neck snapped, and his body fell lifelessly to the ground.

Muscular walked over to the edge of the cliff, where Harbinger was staring over the forest, looking at the blue flames, the rising black smoke, the explosions and the battles going on across the forest.

"Not bad, huh?" Muscular said. "It's like a festival. Joining the League is turning out more fun than I expected."

Harbinger stayed silent for a few moments, drinking in the sight before him. "You're quite right about that."

"Anyway, Muscular. I think it's about time I also joined in on the fun. Don't you?" He turned his head to his muscular companion. To which he was met with a grinning face.

"I didn't think I would, but I'm starting to like you."

And with that, Harbinger stepped off the cliff's edge. But he didn't fall; instead, motes of white light shone to form a colourless glass sword under his feet.

He held his hands behind his back, and with his white martial arts robes, he looked like a true cultivator.

'I feel like calling myself an Immortal Venerable.'

"Heh, fancy."

Harbinger didn't turn back at Muscular's comment. He began floating away from the mountain.

"You can walk, mortal. I shall not." And with that, Harbinger vanished in a white blur.

***

Not long after, while flying in the sky. Harbinger heard explosions and screams from where Muscular was.

'Did he find a new victim already? Lucky bastard.'

'Where the hell are my targets? C'mon, a broccoli boy, a caterpillar and a motorcycle shouldn't be that hard to find.'

'Should I just join the big fight down there?'

His eyes trailed to the largest clearing in the forest, whether that was natural or not. He could see some of the Vanguard Action Squad fighting against Kamui Woods, Mirko, a few teachers from U.A., and the Wild Wild Pussy Cats.

Harbinger didn't find Mr. Compress, Mustard, Moonfish or Twice. But he could see quite a few Dabi and Spinner doubles, so he assumed he was hiding out somewhere around here.

It was then that something caught his attention.

'There you are, Eraserhead.'

***

FWOOSH!

Aizawa rolled to the side, barely dodging a stream of blue fire to his head.

His eyes narrowed onto his attacker. Dabi stood atop a broken tree trunk with his arm outstretched. A wide smile on his face.

"Eyes on him!" Vlad King shouted, vaulting forward. Blood spears launched at Dabi, but were dodged with a leap.

Dabi's feet landed on a separate tree, and he launched himself toward Vlad King, using the tree as a springboard.

His hand came into contact with Vlad King's face, but no fire came from his hand. Aizawa wrapped his capture weapon around Dabi.

Using this opportunity, Vlad locked Dabi's mummified form into a bear hug.

"Got you."

Tens of blood lances, spears, swords, and arrows formed behind Dabi, surrounding him.

Shing.

It was a quiet sound, but it rang through Aizawa's ears as loud as a drum.

In an instant, dozens, maybe hundreds, of fine red lines carved their way across both Vlad King and Dabi.

Aizawa watched with wide eyes as the bodies of both hero and villain crumpled apart, cleanly diced into human cubes.

"Well, that's a surprise. I thought that was one of Twice's works. But I guess he was the real one. My bad, Dabi."

That accursed voice found its way into Aizawa's ears once more. He turned his head slowly like a broken doll.

"Harbinger."
