" So I'm not your prisoner anymore ? " I asked as I crossed my fingers hoping he doesn't dare to say the words I hated to hear. He glared back at me and smirked lightly.

"Who in their right minds would let a prisoner roam around to the extent of getting into the future kings room. " He said briefly not exactly the answer I was expecting but still close enough . What a brag , he had to mention how much of a prince he is.

" So then , does that mean I can have my ring back ?" I asked as he took his seat on his bed and gave me that study full glare again .

" I will talk to Lorance , and I see that he gets it back to you. But fast how are you feeling at the moment . Your back ? " He said and asked . I haven't felt any pain thus I think I'm good .

" I'm okay thanks but do you perhaps know how i could use my ring to get back ? My family must be searching for me especially my mum . She must be loosing her mind at the moment. " I said but then his facial expressions suddenly changed to a small frown . And he then chuckled drastically .

" Do you even know what responsibilities you hold being mated to me ?" He asked proudly . Wait a minute does he think I'm jumping in joy because I'm his supposed mate ?

" Judging by his looks , and tone. he pretty much thinks high of himself . But don't worry we'll tame him . Just try to go easy on him since he hasn't learned who his messing with . ." Nivan said but I rolled my eyes at her statement. She maybe blinded by his handsome face but I wasn't going to stand and let him walk over me . His words make it sound like I got some kind of a blessing being his mate instead of him .

"I haven't agreed to any obligations and in fact ,I haven't even agreed to be yours. And as your mate I have the right to reject or accept you willingly . " I said putting more emphasis on the world reject .

" And due to the fact that I have a very different life , origin, prospects and dreams from yours. I think the moon goddess made a very big mistake in pairing us together . I think we should break this mate bond, right this instance . " I said boldly . Yeah , I know .this wasn't the right way to bring it up but I hadn't got a choice . He then slowly moved to my ear and whispered to me in his seductively charming voice .

"I have never begged for any girl's attention and they freeze at just the sight of me . Hundreds would pay with their at most just for me to touch them . Girls in all twelve realms would be delighted to have a mate such as me . Then why would you not want to have what the others yarn for?" He asked as his breath slowly brushed against my neck and his lips slowly started touching my ear .

"Because I'm not like the others . " I said and then pulled my head back to face him . And as soon as I regained my concentration . After closing my eyes to look away from his , I then started saying the words he wasn't expecting . I felt his grip on me tightening like he was trying to stop me from speaking but went on with my decision until , I couldn't recall his name. " I Reina Adams . I opened my eyes to meet his emerald green eyes glowing and his tight grip on my hand increasing. I could definitely see that his wolf was in his control but it only took him a few seconds to get himself back to control . " Wow , that's new. I thought you were only joking but turns out you really meant your words. I'm impressed. " He said as loosened his grip on my hand .

I clenched my fist out of anger and feeling failure wash over me . All my life the feelings I hated most . I tried pulling myself out of his grip but still couldn't as he refused to let me free .

" Before you run off, let me clear this fact with you . If you don't know the names of your real family and pack your are from then you can't break the bond we have . And from what I have hard you don't know them . And even if you did know , I'm not planning on ever breaking it. So face it. You're stuck with me . We are fated to be together and the moon goddess isn't one to make mistakes but even if she did . This is one i like .

He said and then leaned in close and closer to my lips and we were about to kiss when he moved back. He smiled looking at me closing my eyes and waiting to feel his lips collide with mine .

" You, can now go . " He said and walked back ." What is so wrong with me. I can't believe I left him to tease me not once but twice and with the same similar trick. And for some reason it hurt me to the core whenever he did .

" One of the effects of the mate.." Nivan wanted to solve the question for me but I stopped her in between her words . I knew what she was about to say and at the moment . It triggered my anger just by the sound of it.

I slowly turned to walk out and took about five steps when a crazy idea popped up in my mind . He has been touching me and leading me into thinking he was intending to kiss me but then why should I have any hesitation towards him .

I slowly turned and dashed to him and jumped wrapping my hands around his neck and locked our lips together . I kissed him roughly wildly like my life depends on it . I felt like there was a wild fire burning within me and the more we kissed the more it ignited and it was the most amazing kiss i have ever had .

He was shocked at first but after a few seconds he took back dominance and wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed me back at even a faster speed . His kiss was filled with hunger and desire and need for me like i have never had any one do before . He slightly bitten on my low lip asking for access to my mouth but then I stopped and pulled away .

I couldn't let him get too far . I was scared I might end up losing control over myself and end up doing something I might regret. And besides i wasn't going to let him enjoy himself yet he was the one who backed away first .

He tried to get us back again but I quickly pulled my face back and placed a finger on his lips . " Now I can go.

" I knew you were kidding. Saying that you could reject me. In fact it's the opposite, you crave for me. "

" No , you got it wrong . I was only checking out wether I could feel something if I kissed you . But turns out nothing and to top it you're even bad at kissing . That way i won't ever feel tempted to kiss again.

 if i were you I would break this bond when i still have the chance or else you're going to regret the day you ever refused my rejection .

" I love challenges . Let's see who will win. " He replied as i unwrapped my hands from his neck .

" You wait and see." I said and then finally walked out .

I slowly walked back to the room I was but before I could enter . I heard voices inside making me feel curious about who it was .

Ariella turned to meet her eyes on Max . Who was Holding two bottles of water , and handing one over to her . Max was her fiance that her father had chosen for her . He belonged to a powerful dragon blood line family and being so he was one of the kingdoms best and strongest dragon warriors .

Zander had made him work and do almost the impossible worst just so to agree and give him his daughter in return. Zander never cared about what Ariella felt or wanted. To him she was just a treasure that he could at any time offer to anyone in order to have his benefits in return.

Ariella quickly took the bottle from him and took a gulp of it and then handed the bottle back to him . " I'm not your love . We've talked about this don't insist . I'm not in the mood for your arguments and winning. "

" Of course not Ariella . But we both have different views and perspectives . "

" Oh, so now you see. " Ariella said in a sarcastic voice, got up and went back to her punching bag.

" Why do i have the feeling that you are imagining someone's face on that that punching bag?" He asked teasingly .

" Of course . When one's in my shoes ,you can never run out of faces to imagine on the punching bag . Especially when even one of them is seated behind you . " Ariella said .

Max got up due irritation pulled by her words. He walked closer to her back and abruptly held both her hands to her back criminal style and whispered into her ear. 

" Ooh Ariella . How I enjoy your tantrums but no matter what you do we both know that you belong to me now . And just wait when we get married . I will be sure to teach you how to behave with your dear husband . " He said and started moving his lips to her shoulder .

She quickly head bumped him hitting his lips and as he lost focus on her hands, she quickly moved them from his grip . She jumped and kicked him hard in his knees causing him to collide with the ground 

She then scotted to his side .

" How stupid of you Max , daring to touch a person who has trained all her life as me without permission . And before I forget . Let me make this clear for you once and for all. That you and I are never going to have a romantic relationship. Whether you like it or not. " Ariella said causing Max to laugh loudly.

" What's so funny you idiot? " Ariel asked .

" Ariel, Ariel Ariella . You never fail to amuse me . You can make a fuss all you like but we both know that no matter how much you seem to be strong and tough . You don't have a say in your life . Only your father has the last word and decision. . Ha,ha Ha ha ha ha ha ha. " Max laughed continuously making Ariella 's anger boil.

She pulled her hand to punch him straight into the face when they both had a shoe tapping sound approaching them and quickly holding Ariella .
