explain my self

" I don't have to explain my actions to you. dear mate . " I replied in a low voice as closened our faces . I teasingly pecked his lips and then pulled away from him with my dragon strength . Though my dragon was feeling delightful to be in his hands, i had to ignore it .

He chuckled lightly and didn't catch me again .

I started walking but then realised the guys weren't going to follow me and yet I barely knew my way to the palace .

I stopped ,crossed my hands on my chest and turned back . I stared at him as he only stared down at the injured people down hill . And very soon , I guess he instructed some of the men that had followed him to get down with their mind link thing .

As they all suddenly turned and walked heading down to the chaotic place. 

He then turned to the girls and my brothers .

" So what punishment do you guys find suitable for disobeying my orders ? " He asked in a low but serious voice and i knew what he was playing . He wanted to get to me through them. 

" We d....didn't disobey you your highness .we....we were coming back when we were attacked . " Haley said stumbling.

" Haley, don't you dare to lie to me . I can stand every behaviour except lying . "

" She isn't lying. We where coming back . " I interrupted .

" From the time I called till now . Reina . If you can't find a better lie please just stay quiet. " He said shutting me.

" For Reina this is nothing new to my ears and I expected it. But from you guys. I expected you to be different. And as you know the rules. You will have to be punished for your mistakes . "

" But, alpha we wanted to get back . but the Reina " Carla said but was immediately cut short by Raymond.

" That's Luna for you. " He blurted in a louder voice causing all the girls to shake in fear.

Oh my goodness what had I done. They were going to face punishment for something that I forced them to do . This is so unfair. I quickly walked to where Raymond was and stood in between them and him.

" Raymond stop. Just stop. Okay, the guys have no wrong in this. I was the one who asked them to call me by my name. I was the one who forced them to stay for longer than they should have . And if you want any body to blame here I. I'm the one don't pin it on them. " I snapped slightly raising my voice at him. And everyone around including his men that were down hill turned to look up at us. With looks that clearly stated fear of what he would do to me after my actions.

He only rubbed his forehead in irritation and walked away without giving his answer whether the guys were off the hook or not. What a jerk.

" No, he's not one , his just mad at you and that's all . Our mate wants to protect us and is afraid of us getting hurt. And that's all . You really shouldn't have treated him that cold you know. He had come all this way to save us to save you after all. Imagine if it were you in his shorts ." Nivan advised and I somehow felt touched for a moment. He was willing to run to my aid the moment I needed him. It may have been quite rude of me to talk to him the way I did . But this was for the better I guess . I wouldn't want to live any nice memories of mine in his head. They would hold him back from moving on.

An expensive looking black SUV car arrived as ambulance sirens rang . I scotted beside my friends who were still on their knees at the road side. It had taken about twenty minutes now and Raymond definitely had me where he wanted. In one place . He didn't even bother telling me to stand and wait for him to finish with whatever he and his men were doing. He knew i hadn't got a choice .

He had stood about five to ten feet away from me and continuously gave orders to his men . Until he spotted the car that had parked behind the three ambulance cars .

He then walked heading towards it but before he could enter , he turned and looked at me.

" Reina . Are you coming or should I just carry you inside ?" He asked anger laced with in each word .

" I'm not leaving with out them . " I replied bluntly .

" They will come in the second and the third coming cars . "

"Are they off the hook? " I asked . I didn't want to leave in this shit I caused .

" You self said they have no crime then why should I hold them accountable. You have twenty seconds. And don't make me repeat myself . " He replied and entered. 

" Okay guys I gess i will have to go with him . But I'm sure his not lying . Please call me guys as soon as you're home okay ?" I said as they all got up and stretched in different styles .

" Don't worry about us . We will be okay " Haley replied and Kiran nodded her head in agreement with Haley . Whereas Carla remained silent and looked away from me . Her face was filled disappointed and irritation .

"Carla . "

I wanted to talk to her but the moment I mentioned her name she immediately turned her back to me . And then walked past me . I knew she was definitely mad at me for what had happened . And honestly I don't blame her . It really was wrong of me to make them disobey their Alpha's commands. But I don't even know the right words at the moment .

" Don't worry about her .I Will talk to her . Come on . Don't make the Prince wait more . We both know he isn't that patient . Don't we . " Kiran said cheerfully but in a low voice . And followed Carla .

Allan gave me a confirming smile .

"Don't worry champ everything will turn up okay . Besides you now have a reason to be. As soon as we get home I'll personally arrange for you a little congrats party . " Alex said. I smiled lightly and then headed for The car .

The ride was long and silent as we both stared in our different car windows . We passed through the back gates as we did before with the guys . We boarded off at the palace back entrance and the driver drove the car to the parking lot .

We walked inside me Infront and Raymond behind me before I suddenly stopped . I had different thoughts all the way through the ride and each and every time I only got to one answer . And that's how much I wanted to be out of this darn place and the more I stayed or delayed the more I regretted it. I almost got my brothers killed . I didn't want to wait till more people started hating me for a reason just as Carla did. I wasn't the type for this place and I needed to get away as soon as I could .

" Raymond . About our deal in the morning . I would like to get back to the human realm now. Please. " I asked .

He sighed deeply and then asked for my hand . Which I automatically offered.

He kissed it and then looked deep into my eyes . Reina. I want to be as honest as I can with you but I need you to be the same with me . Why don't you want me for a mate ? "He asked .

I rolled my eyes and crossed my hands and turned to continue walking . I had a feeling he would want to change his mind at the last moment. Seems this guy's going to be quite a clinger. 

Abruptly he popped up in front of me . Due to the suprise I got back heating my back against the wall and he instantly grabbed the advantage . He placed both his hands on both my sides locking me in the middle and then stared right through my eyes.

" Raymond , I'm really not in the mood for this sort of childish game . I had a long day and I wouldn't want to add you to my list of frustrations . " I said warningly . But my words seemed to only pass by his ears .

He leaned in close and closer to me. My heart started racing and one could think I would pop out of my chest the next moment as he got to my neck and started placing light kisses that sent sparks through my entire body .

" Ray.. Raymond ... I promise If you don't pull away . I'm going to kick your Jewels hard. You won't be able to have kids any more . " I threatened but even my voice wasn't stable enough to sound serious as I needed it to . My mind was telling me to get away as soon as I possibly could but my body seemed to have a mind of it's own .

And man ,what he's lips felt like on my shoulders and neck felt so good . Something. Like never before .

" Why do you tend to run away from me yet your body yarns for me . " He whispered in a very seductive voice . I kept silent though . But he wasn't done yet . The next second I felt his hands moving down to my thighs and I knew he was about to lift me up before a coughing sound interrupted us . We both turned to see the girl i met earlier with the king . What was her name again . Mondrian . Mona ,Monica . Yeah , Monica and the king's assistants or Beta . I haven't really pissed what he was between the two titles . Mark . "

I felt so embarrassed that I wanted the ground to swallow me whole . But Raymond was the total opposite . He turned but didn't take his hands away from the walls he was caging me . 

" Yes Mark ? " He replied to the man ignoring the girl who was looking at us with a death glare . Her face already reddened and her eyes teary . Her elf ears and nose red . Anger written all over her face .

" We have got a serious issue and it needs your presence at the moment . " Mark said .

" What is it?"

" It's about your father. I called Paris. And he needs to talk to you . "

" . Give me a second . . " Raymond said as he moved his hands from the wall .

Mark turned and left the moment he was done saying but Monica only moved closer to where we were .

" Raymond, won't you introduce me to your mate ? " She asked as she musked her first face with a smile and reached us at a very close distance . And started moving hee hand lightly on Raymond's bare back .

" Monica can't you see we were in the middle of something" Raymond replied but his voice wasn't as serious and scary as I wanted to hear him be. I don't know whye but I already hated her stupid pretty face.

" Reina , Monica . Old time friend and Monica meet Reina , my mate . " Raymond briefly introduced us .

Nothing was funny in it but she laughed or at least faked up one . " Oh Ray you can be so funny at times . We aren't just old time friends . " She said and Raymond gave her a death glare. Like he was stopping her from saying something .

She also gave him a wired look and then Chuckled . Don't be worried I'm not going to tell her that we used to date . She said obviously knowing that I was hearing her loud and clearly .

Raymond kept silent but the looks on his face clearly showed that he was angry.

Okay , although I don't plan on accepting Raymond as my mate . But this girl was just asking for it . She could have at least waited to talk to him alone but her actions seemed to be aiming to either challenge me . She wanted me to get mad at him .
