On her 18th birthday, Adeline was supposed to shift into her wolf and be claimed by the Alpha she loved. Instead, he threw her into the cursed forest to die.

"Why were you talking to that human? Why did you let him touch you?" Drystan backs me into an empty classroom, "Did you forget who you belong to?" 

I laugh, bitterly, "I don't belong to a man who sold me off to his subordinates..."

"What—What did you say?" Drystan flinches as if the mere thought of it is inconceivable to him. 

Before I can utter another word, a strong arm wraps around my waist, "Missed me, Little wolf?" Warm lips trail greedy kisses down my neck, right in front of Drystan. 

I shove the masked man away from me, "Miss you? You hid your identity from me. You manipulated me... you used me... Now, I am done with you both. This time, I will have a normal life and a normal boyfriend." 

"DON'T YOU DARE!" 

I hear both the men scream yet my footsteps do not falter as I walk away from them.

The Alphas' Secret Addiction

"Soon after I became the Alpha, I installed CCTV cameras in some wings of my mansion, especially the entrance and exit hallways of the prison so that no criminal can escape under my gaze."

As he speaks, Drystan puts me down to my feet.

My legs nearly give up but I hold onto the nearest chair for support.

True to his words, there are a lot of displays inside the room, revealing footage of many corners of the Alpha's residence.

I have been home schooled and growing up, Dad kept me away from the world of humans.

Neither I was given a phone nor was I allowed to cross the territories.

The rest of the werewolves of Blackbane pack did not live a shackled life like me. Even Julia was freer.

Back then, I didn't understand why Dad was doing that but now… it all makes sense. If my mother was a human then—

"Are you scared now?" Drystan's voice breaks the trail of my thoughts.
