The dominos were falling, so to speak, in the underworld.

Traveling with and being housed by Abernathy had its downsides, seriously restricting the provisions I could bring. My new computer setup in San Diego was secured behind locked doors and security, but no more secure than the last time I’d left it, making it vulnerable to Tiller’s men.

Before leaving San Diego, I had the opportunity to gather a few of my things. While in my apartment, I did a once-over of the searches I had running. They were similar in focus to the ones I’d had running in the cabin. Only the scope had changed. Time had given me a few more detailed parameters.
