Ivy and Alex, two different people from two different worlds. Ivy is a nonbinary vampire that's been living a lie with their 4 siblings ever since the rest of their family died back in 1817 after a vampire attack, forever looking the age of 19. Alex, the 21 year old trans son of a female mob boss who dies due to mob wars tries to avenge his mother. Ivy and Alex meet while Ivy and their partner at the police department are investi-gating a crime scene related to the Black Widows gang. Alex is angered by his mother's death and does some irrational things, but Ivy wants to help find his mother's killer. Meet a variety of characters as they go through a journey of friends and enemies. Can Ivy save Alex from life in prison for his stupid actions, or will Alex rot in jail for the rest of his mortal life?
