Character Files: One Goddess , One Sadboy, and a Very Biased Author

Authored with dangerous bias by MangoKiller

⚔️ Aurelia Barclay

Age: 23

Path: Wovenborn – Pulsebearer + Verseweaver

Core Emotions: Wrath & Compassion

Rank: Squad Leader of The Order

Weapon of Choice: A holy sword and terrifying charisma

Hair: Pale-blonde-white — like snow that read poetry

Eyes: Crimson, with golden glints — the color of judgment and unbothered dominance

About Her:

You don't meet Aurelia. You encounter her and leave changed. Entire towns once went quiet just because she frowned once.

Rumors say men from the Eastern Continents abandon their kingdoms, journey to Seriglia, and collapse at her feet just to witness her tie her boots. She doesn't even know they exist.

As a Wovenborn, she mastered not one, but two emotional Paths. She can command a battlefield with either blade or voice—and sometimes, silence alone. She once glared at a corrupted beast so hard it just turned around and left. No one's seen it since.

Strengths:

– Cuts monsters and toxic masculinity in half

– Smiles like mercy, fights like wrath

– Could lead a nation but settled for The Order

– Too powerful to have haters

Weaknesses:

– None that this author is legally allowed to disclose

Fun Fact:

Her necklace flares red whenever someone near her harbors malice, fear, or unbearable awkwardness. It's basically a portable Aki detector.

🖊️ Aki (That's it. He forgot the rest.)

Age: 19

Path: None. He's the "True Author," which sounds cool until you realize he's just a glorified pencil sharpener with anxiety.

Core Emotion: Depression

Occupation: Former webcomic artist. Current part-time deity, full-time mess.

Weapon of Choice: Scribbles. Regret. Sometimes sarcasm.

Hair: Perpetually unbrushed.

Aura: "Did I leave the stove on?" but cosmic.

About Him:

Aki died. (L). Then woke up in a fantasy world he created. Cool, right? No. Because he brought all of his Earth trauma with him. Including the depression.

While technically a godlike "True Author," Aki mainly spends his time being confused, terrified, or hiding behind Aurelia like a human tissue box. His memory's disintegrating every time he uses his powers, which makes his divine status about as stable as his sleep schedule.

Strengths:

– Can technically rewrite reality

– Good at crying in internal monologue

– Has nice hands. That's it.

Weaknesses:

– Emotional potato

– Panic disguised as a protagonist

– Possibly the reason why ECARIA is a dumpster fire

Fun Fact:

When he first met Aurelia, he thought she was a hallucination. Then he realized she was real and had a full-blown identity crisis before breakfast.

🎭 Extended Interview: "Three Idiots, One Meta Scene"

MangoKiller:

Welcome to the bonus chapter. How are my two favorite dysfunctional protagonists?

Aurelia:

Thriving. Unsheathes sword gracefully.

Thank you for not giving me any major emotional weaknesses.

Aki:

Hi. Hello. I'm aki.. just aki… I can't remember my last name…

MangoKiller:

Yeah, that's in your character sheet. You're literally listed as "Forgot his own last name." Iconic.

Aki:

Can we not? I'm trying to survive in a world I possibly created while slowly forgetting who I am.

Aurelia:

And you're doing… passably. At least you haven't tripped over your own power lately.

Aki:

You say that like I haven't had three near-death breakdowns since Chapter 2.

MangoKiller:

Yeah, but your trauma has aesthetic. That's what counts.

Aki:

Why do you hate me?

MangoKiller:

Hate is a strong word. I just find your suffering narratively satisfying. You're like seasoning. Sadness seasoning.

Aurelia:

He's not even spicy though. He's just wet rice with anxiety.

Aki:

I'd like to leave now.

MangoKiller:

You can't. You are the plot.

Aki:

That's not comforting!!

Aurelia:

God I wish people don't ship us.

Aki:

…WHAT?

MangoKiller:

Anyway, moving on, Aurelia, how does it feel to carry this entire story on your goddess-tier shoulders?

Aurelia:

I sleep soundly knowing artists in faraway kingdoms paint me from memory. Also, I'm undefeated in combat and arguments.

Aki:

I once stubbed my toe and cried.

MangoKiller:

Poetic. Keep that energy.

Aurelia:

He's lucky he's cute when he's pathetic.

Aki:

This is bullying.

MangoKiller:

Correct. Now pose for the cover art, the both of you.

Aki:

Do I get clothes this time?

Aurelia:

Please dress him. I'm tired of shielding his modesty mid-battle.

💡 TL;DR:

• Aurelia Barclay: Looks like a goddess. Fights like a divine punishment.

• Aki: Cries like a poet. Draws like a legend. Rewrites reality like an unpaid intern.

• Together? Chaos. And we love it.

🗡️

Next Time…

Chapter 6 begins.

There will be:

– Emotional combat

– A screaming Wrathborn

– Probably more crying

– And at least one very attractive sword swing

Aurelia will continue to glow.

Aki will continue to unravel.

That's the plot. Deal with it.

— With eternal chaos and emotional favoritism,
