Chapter 2

Bam! My heart suddenly started racing. I felt my face turn burning red in an instant.

"You... what nonsense are you spouting?"

"Hahahahaha, why are you stuttering, let me show you something interesting." She said as she took a notebook out of her bag.

My breath caught. I couldn't be more familiar with this notebook.

It's the diary I've kept since high school, recording everything about Nathan Cross.

"How is it? Familiar?" She waved it at me as she held it. I attempted to snatch it, but she deftly avoided me.

In the few minutes we were there, the confrontation was so evident that a crowd had slowly gathered around us.

She opened the notebook and read, "Today is the day you go abroad for study, I didn't dare to see you off... afraid..."

"Enough!" I interrupted loudly.

"Is it fun?" I questioned.

She glanced at me and slowly closed the notebook.

"Not bad, at least it made me happy."
