I lowered my eyes, unable to see Lucas Grant's expression, but my gaze was fixed on his arm.

I clearly remember he once told me that his future clothes could only be paid for by his significant other.

"No need, thank you."

Lucas Grant handed the clothes to the saleswoman ahead of her, and the woman's outstretched hand froze in mid-air.

"You're always like this, liking to act distant with me. We've known each other for so many years, can't you accept a piece of clothing as a token of my appreciation?"

"I could understand when you had a girlfriend, but now, haven't you broken up?"

Although she spoke with a hint of regret, the smile in her eyes was undeniable.

I took a deep breath, really not wanting to stay any longer, took two steps back, and turned around to leave.

"By the way, who is this?"

She shifted her gaze to me.

"Ex-girlfriend."
