Chapter 6

After Angel sees the people being taken somewhere, he decides to follow them to see where they're going. Angel walks slowly, hiding in every corner of the city. The city's situation is sad, with broken, abandoned houses and blood on the floor and walls.

Angel wonders what happened there and who did all that, as he continues following those masked guys, he sees a lot of people working as miners, he realizes that those people are being enslaved.

-What the hell is going on here? Is there anything I can do to help them? These guys are armed and seem to be pretty strong.

Angel tries to look for something to get one of them's attention, and he ends up finding a rock. He picks it up and throws it in his direction to catch the masked man by surprise, but when he tries to throw it, one of the guys who was there ends up noticing him, because when he went to take a look, the guy ended up seeing him behind some rubble.

The masked men then point their guns at him and start shooting at him. Angel tries to escape but is surprised by a grenade that falls right next to him. He then jumps to avoid being caught by the explosion and ends up falling to the ground. He then tries to get up to escape, but he is caught by surprise by another masked man who was inside one of the houses. Angel tries to fight but ends up being hit in the back of the neck, causing him to fall unconscious to the ground.

After some time, Angel begins to regain consciousness and slowly opens his eyes. With great difficulty, he realizes he is tied up and cannot tell where he is at the moment. The door opens and someone enters the room. A person enters, walking and talking to him at the same time.

-You finally woke up, huh, I thought you were dead.

–Who are you? (Panting)

-Ow, it seems like you haven't fully recovered yet, he hit you really hard, didn't he?

The person then starts walking around the room talking to him, the person picks up the mask that Angel was wearing and realizes that he was well prepared, the person notices his gloves and starts analyzing each part of the glove in detail.

-Hmm, interesting, you did that? You're quite smart, kid. And that mask, you're definitely not from a calm and wealthy place. In my opinion, you came from a very dangerous and toxic place.

Angel, after hearing, fully regains consciousness and can see easily. He realizes that he is in a laboratory and the person in front of him is a woman. She is wearing a long gray lab coat, with a black blouse underneath and very long black pants.

–You didn't answer my question, who are you?

-Now you're fully awake, I was starting to get worried. But anyway, my name is Becca, Miss. Becca. I'm in charge of handling the scientific and mechanical matters around here. You know those weapons you saw? Then I made them, that's why I'm so surprised to see that you did this. (She points to the glove)

Angel starts looking around the lab and notices that there are many parts on the tables and realizes that there are several weapons made and some that are still under construction.

– I see, so you're the one in charge of this area.

She nods her head up and down in agreement with Angel.

-That's right, and this is where I love to be, every little thing I do is like a child to me. (Heart in the eyes)

–I see... Could you answer me one thing? Not one, more than one, I have questions and I really want to know what's going on here.

She looks at him, pulls up a chair and sits on it and starts paying attention to his questions.

-Sure, what's your first question?

"What happened to the city? It's all destroyed and abandoned, and there's blood in some parts of the city. There's no one in the houses, and the stores are all robbed and full of dead animals."

-The city is in that state because of a revolution that happened there. The city was invaded by terrorists and the people of this city are very weak, so they were unable to fight against them. The city was in the possession of these terrorists for two years, until one day we arrived in the city and wiped out the terrorists in this city.

–So those people who are being used as slaves are the remaining terrorists?

She looks at Angel and starts laughing, calling him silly and innocent. Angel looks at her blankly, and then she responds.

-We killed all the terrorists that were in the city, and it wasn't difficult to differentiate them, especially because they all had a symbol that showed they were terrorists, so we finished them all off.

Those people were so happy after we killed all the terrorists that they ended up giving us their precious possessions as a way of thanking us, and one of those things was their rich mining, which was what we were looking for. They have the power of one of the richest plasma stones, which means we can make stronger and more lethal weapons.

–But why are they being tortured and made slaves when they gave you their most precious possession?

-Boy, you're so naive. They're in this situation because they didn't want to collaborate with us, and since we're stronger than them, we decided to take something more valuable: their lives. Now none of them have any rights; they'll just work, work, work, and with that, I'll have more and more things to make my inventions.

Angel begins to feel angry at the woman and begins to try to free himself, struggling to get out of there and stop all the terror. While Angel is trying to free himself, the woman looks at him and asks why he's so nervous. He then responds by saying he's going to put an end to all this nonsense and help those people. She looks at him and starts laughing loudly and says,

-Do you really think you'll be able to stop us? You didn't even take care of our guards, do you really think you'll take care of our Gideon? Don't make me laugh.

At this point a voice is heard saying the following: "Attention everyone, our first offering to our Lord is being prepared. A woman has been found outside her cell and will be offered as a sacrifice, everyone must attend the ceremony tonight. Power to Gideon"

Angel, after hearing this, starts crying and becomes even more nervous. He then wonders why she didn't use the radio he gave her, and how she was found. He then starts blaming himself and crying even more. Becca then looks at him and asks:

-Are you moved? Don't be like that, these things happen when nobody follows the rules. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go.

When she turns her back, Angel looks at her with an angry face saying that he will end all of this and that he will free these people and bring peace to them again, Becca then wishes him good luck and leaves the laboratory.
