Chapter 64

IRISH

When Aria appeared at my door with a tear streaked face and Puffy red eyes, I knew she had issues with Zavier and I wasn't sure I was mentally prepared to accommodate such.

“Come in,” I said softly, holding out the door to her.

She sniffed and smiled gratefully before walking in.

“I would've asked how you're doing but you look like shit, so let me guess? Another argument?” I asked as I bolted the door.

She sighed. “Yeah, another damn one.”

“Coffee?” I asked.

“Tea please,” she said.

“Just a minute,” I said before disappearing into the kitchen. Thankfully I still had ingredients I had taken from the pack's kitchen. I made Aria’s tea the way I had seen Beatrix do it.

Minutes later, I walked out with a cup of tea and saucer and handed it to Aria. She smiled thankfully at me and took a sip.

I nodded at her and took my seat, watching her drink. “I'm so drunk,” she said.

I burst out laughing before I could stop myself. “Don't even.”
