Alyssa couldn't focus on work with Ace's presence in the house. The way the scent of him surrounded her, drowning in her senses, the pressure of her responsibilities became too overwhelming and suffocated her every breath. She knew she needed a leave. Seeking solace from the pressure, She summoned courage and asked the Alpha for a two-day leave. To her surprise, he granted her request without hesitation.
