A day out with family

Li Anqi woke up. She looked at her surroundings. She was still in her crib, and her parents were nowhere to be seen. She sensed some wetness and knew what had happened. She cried loudly, thinking someone would come to her after they heard her voice.

Then she sensed someone had come towards the room. She sensed that her senses were now sharper. She stopped crying.

Just then, the room door opened, and Li Zixuan walked in.

"Oh! My little princess is awake..." Li Zixuan exclaimed.

Li Anqi waved her hands towards her father, "Da... da.. da"

"Ahhh.... My little princess is calling me, how cute." Li Zixuan said. He picked Li Anqi into his embrace. "The diaper needed to be changed. Let's go to change." He took her to bed and changed her diaper. "Do you know? We are going out today to have fun," he also changed her dress and went to the living room with her in his arms.

Li Shuang came out of the kitchen with a hot water bottle, some snacks for Li Anqi and placed them in her bag. They were already ready for their trip and Li Anqi even don't know when they have planned it.

Li Zixuan started the car, and they set off on their trip. Li Anqi gazed out the window, enjoying the passing scenery. With some funny comments from Li Zixuan and some light flirting between the couple, they soon arrived at their destination.

Wonder World

It was a children's park. Now that Li Anqi was about six months old, they thought it would be nice to bring her out for some fun. The park was full of color and laughter, a perfect place for kids. And it will give her a little taste of outdoor fun.

Since the park had picnic spots, they brought the bags they had packed earlier. After laying out the blanket, they gently placed Li Anqi on it. She sat quietly, her wide eyes exploring the world around her. The children were playing nearby, bubbles floating everywhere as they hopped around, trying to catch them.

A bubble floated toward Li Anqi, and she stretched her tiny hand to catch it. But the bubble drifted past her little fingers, making her parents laugh softly. Li Anqi blinked in confusion, but as another one floated close, she reached out again, her tiny fingers stretching toward it.

Lin Shuang smiled and pulled out her phone, quickly capturing a few pictures.

The scene was harmonious.

Then, suddenly, a ball came flying toward Li Anqi. It bounced once... twice... thrice... Just as it was about to hit her, she reflexively stretched out her hand and smacked it away.

At the same time, Li Zixuan and Lin Shuang also stretched out their hands toward her in fear. But they were shocked to see that Li Anqi had reacted before they could. Out of fear, Lin Shuang quickly scooped Li Anqi into her arms. She examined her quickly to check for any injuries.

Seeing that nothing had happened, she sighed in relief and planted a gentle kiss on Li Anqi's cheek.

Then they heard a boy's voice, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! Is she okay?"

"She's fine, but you need to watch where you're kicking next time," Lin Shuang replied, her tone calm but serious.

"I'm so sorry! I promise I'll be more careful next time," the boy said, his eyes wide with worry as he shifted nervously on his feet.

"Jianyu, where are you running off to?" the young woman with a baby bump called out as she walked toward them. "Didn't I tell you not to go too far?"

Jianyu turned around with an innocent grin, holding the ball behind his back.

"Sorry, Mama! I didn't mean to go far," he said, glancing shyly at the little girl and her parents.

Nian Xi reached his side and gently patted his head."It's okay, just be careful next time." She then turned to Lin Shuang and Li Zixuan, bowing slightly."I hope he didn't scare your little one."

Lin Shuang smiled warmly. "No, no. She's fine. Just gave us a little fright, that's all."

She glanced down at Li Anqi, who was watching the boy.

To her surprise, Li Anqi reached out a small hand in his direction.

Nian Xi noticed it too and chuckled. "Looks like she's not scared of him at all."

"Maybe she's made her first friend," Li Zixuan said lightly, a glint of amusement in his eyes.

Jianyu, still holding the ball, took a hesitant step forward and gently placed it near Li Anqi's feet.

"You can play too," he said softly, then looked up at Lin Shuang and Li Zixuan as if seeking permission.

Lin Shuang raised her eyebrows in surprise but gave a small nod.

Li Anqi's fingers curled around the edge of the ball. Then, with a sudden giggle, she kicked the ball, amusing everyone.

As the ball rolled back toward Jianyu, the boy laughed and nudged it gently again, starting a game between the two.

Li Anqi clapped her tiny hands, her face lighting up with joy.

The late afternoon sun filtered through the trees, casting a warm glow on the blanket.

Around them, the park was filled with gentle laughter, rustling leaves, and the distant chatter of families enjoying a peaceful day.
