Chapter 12
"What? Run into it? Really?"
Harry looked incredulous at the suggestion, clearly hesitant.
Devero, however, was brimming with confidence.
"Harry, trust me. We're classmates—why would I trick or take advantage of you? Just charge straight at it!"
Harry, hearing this, seemed to let go of some of his wariness.
A blond eleven-year-old boy with a toad on his shoulder—surely, he must be a young wizard… right?
Taking a deep breath and following Devero's instructions, Harry sprinted toward the pillar!
*Bang!*
To everyone's surprise, Harry crashed straight into the pillar, tumbling backward in a heap.
Devero was stunned.
"What? No way, Dobby shouldn't have cast any spells here this year, right?"
Then he noticed a noisy group of red-haired people passing by.
"Mom, I need to go to the prefects' carriage, so…" a tall red-haired boy said.
"Oh, Percy, you're a prefect? How did we not know?" a pair of twins teased in a mocking tone.
"Mom, can't I really get on the train?" a little girl pleaded, tugging at her mother's hand.
"No, Ginny, you're still too young," the woman replied firmly, shaking her head.
It was then that Devero realized—oops, he'd miscounted the pillars.
It wasn't *this* one.
Devero hurried over to help Harry, who was glaring resentfully, back to his feet.
"Uh, sorry, Potter, I think I got the wrong pillar. It's probably that one over there."
He quickly helped Harry gather his scattered luggage.
In truth, Devero didn't regret letting Harry test the pillar first. After all, unlike other young wizards, he wasn't pushing a heavy luggage cart. If *he* had crashed, he'd have hit the wall head-on, and a bruised face would've been a disaster.
After tidying up, Devero led a skeptical Harry to another pillar.
Clearly, Harry's trust in him had taken a hit.
"Don't worry, this time it's definitely the right one," Devero said, trying to reassure him.
"Look, that family's kids are heading toward it."
As they spoke, the group of red-haired children charged at the stone wall, passing through it one by one and vanishing.
Seeing this, Harry's doubts finally eased.
"Oh, dears, are you waiting for us? You can go in now," said a slightly plump woman with a warm smile, turning to them after the smallest freckled boy had gone through. She stepped aside to let them pass.
Devero nodded with a smile.
"Thank you, ma'am. It's our first time going to Hogwarts, so we're not too familiar with the way. Haha, we almost crashed into the wrong pillar earlier."
"Almost? I *did* crash into it!" Harry interjected indignantly, still a bit annoyed.
With Mrs. Weasley's help, Harry took a deep breath, mustered his courage, and charged at the pillar again. This time, he passed through successfully, arriving at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.
Devero thanked Mrs. Weasley before following suit, rushing through the pillar.
Mrs. Weasley watched Devero disappear, then suddenly frowned.
"That boy didn't have any luggage?" she murmured to herself, her brow furrowing slightly.
—
"Wow, this is the wizarding station platform?"
Devero felt as though he'd passed through a watery barrier, though his body remained dry. He found himself in a completely different space.
Many people here wore traditional wizarding robes, giving Devero the illusion of being back in Diagon Alley.
Of course, most were dressed in Muggle clothing, as parents escorting their children still had to pass through the Muggle station. Per laws protecting Muggles, they tried to blend in with Muggle fashion.
As Devero looked around, trying to spot Harry while eagerly copying traits from passersby, a notification sounded:
[Ding!]
[Wizarding Secret Realm Discovered, Exploration Function Activated!]
[Current Wizarding Secret Realm: London Wizarding Station!]
[Exploration Progress: 1.1%]
Devero froze. He hadn't expected the station to count as a wizarding secret realm!
But it made sense—perhaps two hundred years ago, after the Industrial Revolution, this place began serving Hogwarts students. It had quite a history.
Excited, Devero realized this station was far different from Diagon Alley. It was a contained space with no equivalent to Knockturn Alley dragging down his exploration progress.
This meant he could potentially max out the exploration progress today!
Devero scanned the bustling platform. Parents were helping children with luggage, while students chattered excitedly about the upcoming term.

Some carried owls, others cats, and there was even someone like Devero with a toad—probably Neville, who likely had some decent traits.
But Devero wasn't focused on them right now. There'd be plenty of time to copy traits at Hogwarts!
In the distance, a massive red steam train puffed white smoke, waiting for passengers.
With no luggage to slow him down, Devero began sprinting across the platform, darting from one end to the other, his attention fixed on the system panel, watching the exploration progress climb.
Every step he took made the progress jump.

*Boom!*
Standing at the platform's edge, Devero's body trembled violently!
A massive wave of knowledge flooded his mind, intertwining and merging!
The sheer volume of information was overwhelming. Even for a magical prodigy like Devero, it was nearly too much to handle.
For an ordinary eleven-year-old wizard, their mind might have burned out in an instant!
After clutching his head and processing the knowledge for a moment, Devero slowly straightened up.
Opening the system panel, he saw a new entry:
