Chapter 18 – “My Time-Traveling Daughter Just Enrolled in My Class and Wants to Erase Her Mom”

1. The Morning After Time Imploded (Again)

I woke up on the floor of the cabin. My blanket was missing, and someone had drawn cat whiskers on my face.

"…Lilith," I groaned.

"No proof," she said from the top bunk, flipping through a spellbook and smirking.

Then it hit me.

A meteor.

A girl in glowing boots.

Another girl in glowing everything.

"I'm your daughter."

"PLEASE tell me I hallucinated all of that."

"Nope," said Sayuri, already cleaning throwing stars. "You fainted so hard you kissed a tree stump."

Ayaka held up her phone. "It was adorable."

Mizuki added, "You cried out 'I'm too young to pay alimony' in your sleep."

Kill me now.

2. Her Name is Airi Kazuki… and She's My Worst Nightmare

Breakfast was interrupted by the loud slam of the lodge doors.

In strode the mysterious new girl—mid-teens, stormy silver hair like Luna, sharp crimson eyes, and a look that screamed "I inherited my mother's dramatic entrance gene."

She held up a student ID.

"Airi Kazuki. Transfer student. From Class 3-F… and the year 2060."

Everyone froze.

Me: "That's illegal on five levels."

Luna: calmly sipping tea. "She's mine."

Airi: "Correction—I'm yours. But only biologically."

Lilith: "So… you're saying you're his future daughter?"

Airi: "Yes. Unfortunately."

Mizuki: "How unfortunate?"

Airi: "So unfortunate that I came back in time to ensure you and Mom never get together."

Luna spat out her tea.

3. DNA Drama and Identity Crises

Lilith: "Hold up. So now the competition has escalated to time-travel sabotage?"

Ayaka: "Does this mean we all have to avoid pregnancy and paradoxes?"

Sayuri: "I don't like the idea of a teenager knowing more about my love life than I do."

Airi glared at all of them. "Don't worry. None of you are my moms."

Everyone: "…"

Kazuki: "I'm going back to bed."

Luna grabbed my arm. "Kazuki, I swear, I don't have a daughter. Yet."

Airi: "Exactly. And I plan to keep it that way."

Me: "So you traveled through time to erase your own existence?"

Airi: "Wouldn't you, if your dad was… you?"

Ouch.

4. She Enrolls at My School (Of Course She Does)

By lunchtime, Airi Kazuki had joined my class.

She aced every subject, roasted the teacher with math puns, and somehow became the student council's vice president in under four hours.

I couldn't even get past Algebra 2.

Worse, she walked around school like my life was her anime filler arc.

She even posted a chart on the class board titled:

"Romantic Probabilities: Who Should Not Be My Mom"

Lilith: "Too evil, might raise me to conquer the world."

Ayaka: "Too soft. Spoils me with pudding. Bad discipline."

Sayuri: "I wouldn't survive her stealth training."

Mizuki: "Do I even have to explain?"

Luna: "The reason I'm here. Absolutely not."

Luna tore it down. Airi put up three more copies.

5. Meanwhile, the Girls Are Losing It

Lilith: "I can't lose to a fetus with time magic."

Ayaka: "I've already started knitting baby socks. I'm too invested."

Sayuri: "I keep finding tracking spells under my pillow."

Mizuki: "So I'm not even on the list? Rude."

Luna looked exhausted. "I thought I raised her with love and dignity."

Airi: "I raised myself after your emotional negligence. Also, you named me after a perfume."

Luna: "It means 'love and truth'!"

Airi: "It smells like regret."

6. My Breakdown in the Clubroom

I locked myself in the Occult Clubroom and just… screamed into a beanbag for 10 minutes straight.

Then the door opened.

Airi stepped in, handed me a can of soda, and said, "Look. I'm not here to make your life hell."

"Really? Because so far you've made my nose bleed twice, destroyed my chances of confession, and threatened your own birth."

She shrugged. "I just want a better future."

"By deleting yourself?"

She hesitated. "If it means you get to be happy now… maybe."

That shut me up.

7. Luna's Breakdown (Emotional Tsunami Edition)

Later that night, I found Luna alone by the lake.

"…She hates me," she said.

"She's from a timeline that might not even happen."

"I was so sure you'd choose me."

I blinked. "You are from the future. Doesn't that mean you win?"

"Time's not a straight line. It's… squiggly."

"That's very scientific."

She looked at me. "Would you still like me if I didn't come from some tragic romance timeline?"

"I liked you before you told me about the cake proposal."

She smiled. Then leaned in—

BOOM.

Sayuri fell out of a tree. Ayaka fell out of a bush. Mizuki emerged from a portal. Lilith burst from the lake holding a camera.

"I KNEW IT!" they all yelled.
