"God... This isn’t fair...!"

That was the cry of Imanuel Karel Arisatya's heart.

Amidst the heavy downpour, he stood alone at a bus stop. Just standing, watching the movement of people around him. Despite the ferocity of the rain—people continued with their activities as if nothing was happening.

Was this pain only for Karel alone? His heart... shattered, broken, crushed! Words that flashed through his mind in an instant.

“Hhaaaahhh….” A long sigh repeatedly escaped Karel’s mouth. With his right hand stretched out, he caught the falling rain, watching the drops fall and splash against his palm.

If only Karel could rewind time with a time machine—back to his childhood days? He missed those times dearly. Times when his late brother, Staylie, and he used to play together. It felt impossible to ever relive that again.

Plop!

Ring. Ring. Ring.
