Scene: Mek's Seaside Town – Flower Shop
Mek tried to stay calm.
But every time he saw Pete's face in the news—
Every time he heard another city blown up with Pete's name whispered behind it—
His hands shook.
> "He's making noise again."
That's what the old lady at the bakery said.
Pete was tearing through rival gangs, shutting down black-market rings, and even buying out corrupt cops.
The world was watching.
All for one reason:
To find Mek.

Scene: Pete's POV – Mafia War Room
A giant map spread across the table.
Red markers. Strings. Pictures. Trails. Trails. Trails.
His men surrounded him, silent, watching their boss spiral into fury.
Pete's shirt was half-unbuttoned, knuckles bruised from a recent fight. Eyes bloodshot. Voice low.
> "Find everyone who spoke to Mek. Everyone who touched him. Track them. Shake them. Break them if needed."
Someone dared to ask,
> "Boss… what if Mek doesn't want to come back?"
Pete slammed his fist on the table.
> "I don't care what he wants."
> "I care what he feels. Hate me. Love me. As long as he feels me, I still exist in his world."

Scene: Mek's POV – Nighttime Walk
He tried to clear his head.
But the alley near the flower shop exploded with sirens and lights.
Gunfire.
Motorcycles.
A gang war between local punks and Pete's men.
Mek was dragged to safety by a bodyguard he didn't even know.
When the dust cleared, a note was shoved in his jacket pocket.
It read:
> "You ran from me. But the world doesn't stop.
So I'll set fire to it. Until you run back into my arms."
— P.V.
Mek crumpled the note, chest heaving.
> "Damn you, Pete…"
But tears fell anyway.

Scene: Flashback – One Year Ago
Pete and Mek lay in bed, hands tangled, no words needed.
Pete whispered:
> "Even if the world turns against us… would you still hold my hand?"
Mek had smiled, sleepy.
> "Only if you promise to burn it all down for me."

Back to Present – Mek's Room
He stared at his phone.
A dozen missed calls.
One video message from Pete.
Mek tapped it.
Pete, soaked in rain, breathing hard.
> "You hate me now. Fine. Be my enemy.
But you'll never forget me. I'll be your fire, your curse, your regret."
He looked directly into the camera.
> "And if I'm a villain in your story—then let me be the most beautiful damn villain you've ever loved."
