Scene: Pete's Father's Private Estate – Surveillance Room
He slammed the screen off.
On it?
Footage of Pete kneeling, ring in hand.
Mek saying yes.
> "Unforgivable," he muttered, jaw clenched so tight it could crack bone.
Pete's father—cold, calculating, ruthless mafia patriarch—turned to his most trusted guard.
> "If my son wants to burn everything we built... then we remove the match."
> "Take him."
The guard blinked. "Sir, you mean Pete?"
> "No," he hissed. "The boy."
> "Take Mek. Break him. Disappear him. Let my son see what choosing weakness does."

Scene: Mek – Walking Alone Near the Edge of Town
He was supposed to meet Pete. Just grab some groceries.
Smiling to himself like a lovestruck fool, humming some stupid song Pete had stuck in his head...
Then—
A black van.
Hands.
Cloth over his mouth.
Darkness.

Scene: Pete – Waiting Outside the Safehouse
He checked his watch. Again.
Mek was never this late.
The groceries were untouched on the porch. The bag Mek had carried was lying on the road. Something red stained the handle.
Blood?
> "Mek?" Pete whispered, panic rising like acid in his throat.
He ran.
Called.
Screamed.
But all that echoed back… was silence.

Scene: Later That Night – Pete's Private Office
Every contact was activated. Every street rat, every underground source, every drone and camera.
> "Find him," Pete roared.
He tossed everything off his desk. Pulled his hair.
Clawed at his chest like his heart was tearing out from the inside.
Then a message popped on his phone.
No number. Just text.
> "We warned you."
"A boy like him can't survive in our world."
"Choices have consequences."
Pete's blood ran cold.
Then hot.
Then pure rage.
> "You wanna play war, Father?" Pete growled, voice shaking with fury.
"Then I'll become your worst f*cking nightmare."

Scene: Mek – Unknown Location, Underground Room
Chains.
Darkness.
Water dripping.
Bruises blooming on skin that once glowed from candlelight and love.
Mek's voice cracked.
> "Pete… please…"
His fingers brushed the cold wall.
Somewhere far away, he knew, Pete was screaming for him.
But the worst part?
He wasn't sure if he'd live long enough to scream back.
