One day, a girl was studying for her exams—nothing out of the ordinary—until she suddenly dropped dead for reasons unknown. Just like that, she was reincarnated as a newborn baby in a different world, now bearing the name Carela Pelham Codrington.



Eighteen years later, she's a student at the Clock Tower, the heart of magecraft in the modern world. One rainy, fog-covered evening, after a quiet visit to a nearby café, she returns to her apartment… and finally, the thing she’d secretly been hoping for all this time appears: her cheat ability.



But it’s not what she expected.
