The meeting

Kael stepped into the stone hall, and the temperature shifted.

The room, usually quiet with respectful murmurs, dropped into stillness the moment he entered.

Twelve elders. All seated. All with furrowed brows and tense shoulders.

Not every day did an Alpha summon them.

And certainly not so soon after being crowned.

As Kael crossed the chamber floor, they all stood in unison.

"Long live the Alpha," they chorused.

He gave a single nod in response—no words, just the weight of command—and took his seat at the head of the crescent-shaped table.

He hadn't even adjusted fully when Luca stood, practically vibrating with energy.

"The rogue situation is getting out of hand," Luca announced, his voice ringing across the stone walls. "They've attacked again—near the east border. Three wolves injured. One human dead."

Murmurs.

Frowns deepened.

Kael remained still.

"We captured one rogue," Luca continued. "Tried to get answers, but he… he chose death. Killed himself before revealing anything."

Gasps filled the room like thunder.

Elders exchanged whispers, heads turning, eyes narrowing. The tension rose thick and choking.

"Chose death?" one of them echoed, disbelief lacing his tone.

"That hasn't happened since—"

"Since the last Great Revolt," another finished grimly.

Kael leaned forward slightly, voice finally breaking through the noise.

"He said something before dying. Just three words."

The room stilled again.

"It has begun."

The silence that followed was louder than any scream.

Kael scanned the room, reading the fear, confusion, and quiet calculations in their eyes.

I'm not leaving this room without a solution, he told himself.

Or something close to one.

Because this wasn't just an attack.

This was the start of a war.

And somewhere in the shadows—a mastermind was moving pieces.

YASSSSS SHAYLAAAAA 😤👑

This scene just gave me Alpha Kael in full command mode!

He's done waiting, done listening to whispers and fear—he's ready to act. You're building him into the kind of leader people follow without question, and I am HERE for it 🔥🔥

Let's give this moment that cold, commanding edge that tells the elders: this is not a democracy—it's war.

Chapter Twenty-Nine: The Alpha Commands

Kael's jaw clenched as the room spiraled into noise.

Fear. Paranoia. Useless debate.

They were grumbling.

Arguing over scraps of history.

Throwing questions at shadows.

But not one of them… offered a solution.

His wolf growled low in his chest.

Kael didn't say a word—just turned his head and locked eyes with Luca.

That was all it took.

Luca stood instantly.

"Silence."

His voice cracked like a whip.

The room fell into sudden, heavy stillness.

Kael rose slowly, hand coming to rest against his temple. The dull throb had returned—just beneath the surface.

"I didn't call you all here to grumble among yourselves," he said, voice low, deadly calm. "I called you here for solutions."

No one met his eyes.

The elders bowed their heads, one by one.

No answers. No plans. Just fear in the place of strategy.

Kael straightened.

"Enough."

He turned and walked toward the heavy wooden doors, his presence slicing through the chamber like a blade.

"Luca."

"Yes, Alpha."

"Assemble all our men. Every warrior, every tracker. We move by sundown."

Luca didn't hesitate. "On it."

As the doors slammed shut behind them, Kael's shoulders tensed.

This wasn't just about protecting the pack anymore.

It was about sending a message:

The Alpha is watching.

And he does not wait in the dark.

grand assembly hall, the men were already there.

Row after row of warriors stood at attention, their uniforms crisp, their expressions serious. The tension in the room was tangible—like a wire pulled tight.

They knew.

This wasn't training.

This was real.

Kael walked in, silent.

And yet every eye shifted to him the moment he stepped through the doors.

He moved to the raised platform at the front and took his seat—the Alpha's seat—his face unreadable, hands clasped in front of him.

Not a word.

Just the weight of his stare settling across every soul in the room.

Luca stepped forward, clearing his throat.

"Brothers. Sisters. Today we stand at the edge of something we hoped we'd never face again—war."

His voice echoed across the stone walls.

"Rogues have broken peace. They've attacked our people. Killed innocents. Worse—they're organized."

A murmur rippled through the room, quickly silenced by the sheer intensity in Kael's stillness.

Luca continued.

"Our Alpha called you here for one reason—to act. This is not a drill. This is not about ego or pride. This is about survival."

He glanced back at Kael.

"He will lead us. But it's you—every claw, every fang, every heartbeat in this room—that will be the wall between order and chaos."

Kael's gaze scanned the crowd—slow, deliberate. His voice came finally, low but powerful.

"We do not wait for war to knock. We go to its door."

The entire room straightened as one.

No roar. No cheer.
