Chapter 2: The Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture

The Feng siblings knew that whatever just happened was because of Long Zhen but they also noticed that he didn't wish to speak about it so they kept their questions to themselves.

After the collecting everything valuable from the bandits corpses, they made their way together to a nearby city where they stayed in a tavern to rest as they still had a long journey ahead to the Azure Amber Sect, which was where they were headed before being ambushed. That was because the Azure Amber Sect was currently hosting its annual entrance examination.

In the tavern, Long Zhen cleaned himself up and finally took a look at his new appearance, which greatly resembled his original self's appearance but younger and more feeble.

He had long black hair, a chiseled and handsome look and sword-like eyebrows that were perfectly even and complimented his face and gave him a masculine look.

He then went through his memories once again, this time searching through all of it and he finally came to know about the world he was currently in, which was called the Origin Ember World. The Origin Ember World was a solitary world, which meant that it had no way to access nor any knowledge of the Boundless Immortal Worlds, hence, it was completely solitary.

He found out that there were nine domains in this world, which were named, The Stonegate Domain, The Ironfield Domain, The Pillmaster Domain, The Lowcrest Domain, The Ashgate Domain, The Whitesky Domain, The Dustmoor Domain, The Eastglow Domain and the Heavenly Sword Domain, respectively.

The Heavenly Sword Domain was ruled by the Heavenly Sword Sect and it was the strongest out of the nine domains due to its abundance of sword cultivators who are known for their offensive strength.

The Pillmaster Domain was ruled by the Holy Pill Palace and it was the richest domain because of it's monopoly over the pill market. Hence, no power wished to offend them.

The other domains had their own specialties as well, such as the Ironfield Domain being known for its forging arts but in general, these seven domains were more or less equal in terms of strength.

Long Zhen and the Feng siblings were currently in the Ashgate Domain where there were three first grade powers competing for supremacy, with the Azure Amber Sect being one of them.

After searching through his memories, Long Zhen joined the siblings for breakfast where he acted as he would normally and no one mentioned yesterday's events.

As an Immortal, Long Zhen had interacted with all kinds of peoples so he had an extremely keen sense about people's characters and especially so for these mortals who hadn't even lived for a fraction of his life. So he knew that the Feng siblings were kindhearted and righteous individuals, which is why had decided to be so amiable to them and help them, not to mention that they and their family provided and cared for the body he was residing in, which made him grateful.

After breakfast, they decided that they would continue their journey the next morning and with one more day to spare, Long Zhen got to work.

He was pondering on which cultivation technique he should cultivate in this life as he had just begun his journey once more and cultivating a powerful technique from the start would yield far more benefits than switching to a more powerful one after setting the foundation with a weaker cultivation method.

Long Zhen knew a large number of extremely powerful cultivation techniques that could start wars even in the Boundless Immortal Worlds since he spent the majority of his life as an Immortal adventuring or exploring ruins or collecting his loot after extinguishing the many sects and clans that made him an enemy.

However, the most powerful one of his techniques was Celestial God-Body Refining Art, which he obtained from an Ancient Celestial's Tomb but couldn't cultivate due to obtaining it too late. Another reason why he couldn't switch to it was because all he had no access to spots that naturally produced Celestial QI.

The Celestial God-Body Refining Art was the most important thing in order to become a Celestial Being but there were only two ways to cultivate it.

The first was to cultivate it at the start of one's cultivation journey, in the first realm of cultivation known as the Qi Gathering Realm but this was usually impossible as there was no way that a beginner in cultivation could possibly comprehend this profound art.

The second way was to switch to this technique after perfecting your foundation but this required copious amounts of Celestial Qi during the switching process and even after that, it would result in a slightly unstable foundation.

However, since there was no one capable of comprehending it in the Qi Gathering Realm, there was little to no strength difference between the existing Celestial Beings.

Moreover, every location in the Boundless Immortal Worlds that produced even the tiniest amounts of Celestial Qi were monopolized by the existing Celestial Beings, hence, there were no new Celestial Beings for millions of years.

But now, Long Zhen, with his experience as an Immortal, could comprehend this mystical art while in the beginning of his cultivation journey, which would give him an edge when facing off against the existing, yet flawed Celestial Beings and that thought excited him endlessly.

He prepared to start comprehending the Celestial God-Body Refining Art when he suddenly felt the urge to inspect his Dantian.

He did so and noticed something odd. There were actually a string of extremely profound and complex characters. It read, "THE PRIMORDIAL COSMOS NIRVANA SCRIPTURE" and as soon he recited this name in his heart, his vision went black!

"..."

He found himself floating endlessly in a space that was void of anything else. He couldn't see nor could he feel even his body. He was confused by what was happening but then, he heard a voice. No, he didn't hear it, it would be accurate to say that he felt The Voice. It was as if The Voice was all around him, even inside him, as if the void itself was speaking.

That Voice was extremely mysterious, unlike anything he ever heard before. He couldn't even determine if it was a man's voice or a woman's. It said,

"If you are hearing this voice, that means you have finally uncovered the Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture. This life, is a gift from me to you. Cultivate this scripture and achieve your goal. Once you do, you shall hear from me once more"

It's message was concise, but that was all Long Zhen needed to hear to perfectly understand how he experienced reincarnation and what he needed to do.

His consciousness returned to his body in the tavern and he made the decision to abandon the Celestial God-Body Refining Art and cultivate the Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture because the feeling The Voice gave him far surpassed anything else and his instincts told him that the owner the The Voice was far stronger than even Celestial Beings such as the Heavenly God.

He started cultivating the Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture and he noticed that the Qi he absorbed from the Heaven and Earth was completely different from what he knew.

It was actually even stronger than Celestial Qi! He was dumbfounded. He knew that the Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture should be superior to the Celestial God-Body Refining Art but he didn't think that even the Qi required to cultivate it was completely different.

Because even with his immense experience as an Immortal, he had never once read nor heard of a Qi being stronger than Celestial Qi, which was also known as the strongest type of Qi.

Having no knowledge of the Qi he was currently absorbing and refining, he decided to call it Cosmic Qi until he knew the proper term.

The Primordial Cosmos Nirvana Scripture was truly heaven-defying! In just one day, The amount of Cosmic Qi he absorbed was not too much quantitatively, yet he broke through from the 2nd stage of the Qi Gathering Realm to the 5th!

On the morning of the next day, the trio gathered again and the Feng siblings were shocked upon seeing Long Zhen's cultivation. They had no clue how it was possible to go from the 2nd stage to the 5th in just one day.
