Alina Monroe, the daughter of a wealthy politician, spent her whole life in her father's shadow, safe, sheltered and lonely.



But her life takes a huge turn when she gets kidnapped on her way back from college. Scared and alone, she prepares herself for the worst but a mysterious masked lady suddenly comes to her rescue.



Everything happened in a blink of an eye and the lady was gone before Alina could even think of what happened.



Her father, now a bit shaken up and restless decides to hire a personal bodyguard.



What Alina doesn't expect is to see her saviour right in front of her two days later, introducing herself as her new bodyguard.



Alina refuses to accept a bodyguard but she couldn't defy her father and went along with it.



As time goes by, she starts to develop a kind of affection towards the bodyguard but deep down, something about the her never felt right.
