**Rainport Courthouse – 9:16 a.m.**

“Vivian Lu has filed for full custody of Willow Shi,” Serena’s attorney whispered, slapping a fresh motion on the table. “She’s claiming you’re mentally unstable, legally compromised, and internationally fraudulent.”

Serena didn’t blink. “On what grounds?”

“She leaked your kidney donation to Julian’s mother. She’s spinning it as manipulation for financial gain.”

Serena scanned the motion. “Trial date?”

“Thirty days.”

Across the room, Vivian met her gaze and offered a gentle wave.

**Orion & Graves – Partner Conference Room**

Grace Lin folded her hands. “Vivian just poached three of our senior partners. They’re on her custody case team now.”

Serena’s mouth tightened. “Conflict of interest?”

“They disclosed it. We can’t stop them.”

“You’re suspending me.”

Grace nodded, almost regretfully. “Until the ethics review is complete, yes.”

“Perfect,” Serena muttered, rising from the chair.
