Shen Yi, stage name Weilong, was a legendary actor whose fame swept across the globe in the 1970s. Yet after a mysterious disappearance, he vanished from public memory—as if he had never existed at all.



One day, Rong Qian stumbled upon an old photograph taken more than thirty years ago. In it, she stood beside Shen Yi. The baffling discovery set her on a journey through time, leaping across decades in an attempt to save him.



To Rong Qian, each crossing spanned only a few days. But for Shen Yi, every reunion required years of waiting.



And so, in the long, silent stretch of time between their meetings, the elegant and composed Mr. Shen—graceful in public—would sit alone, propping his chin on his hand, counting the days on his fingers.
