Chapter 2 The Golden Ticket dream

Chapter 2 – The Golden Ticket Dream

Dremo took a paper for his desk and said in his dramatic tone, "Let's see this young boy's dream—what does he want the most in his life?"

He quickly read the paper, his eyes scanning from top to bottom. He paused and said, "That's what he needs,i know what you need boy."

He stepped out of the office in a hurry and met Felly in the hallway, delevring the dress scripts.

Felly greeted him, " hello mister dremo,I already read the paper. I've made the stages just watch and see."

Dremo looked at her seriously. "Felly, the golden ticket is what the dreamers want the most in their lives. Always Remember that."

The Boy's Thoughts

A boy, around eight years old, lay on his bed, thinking deeply,of what he wants searching on his thoughts.

A sudden thought blinked into his mind. He said to himself, "Why is no one laughing, these days? No one's happy anymore..."

"When I got on the bus earlier, no one smiled. No one even looked excited in the same world. Everyone just looked like they had no passion for life anymore. It was like they only wanted to skip the day and do nothing, just waiting for something to happen, that makes me sad his eyes glow."

He sighed.

"When I got off the bus, I saw that man like always opening his shop—always angry like something is. I don't know anymore. I just wish... I just hope they laugh, they enjoy. Maybe that could defeat whatever happiness obstacle they're facing. Like how the bad people always lose…"

And with those thoughts in mind, he fell asleep.

Back at the Dream Factory

In another place, far from the sleeping boy, a golden ticket popped out of a machine—like a toaster. A smiling, sleepy face was painted on it.

Dremo picked it up and, in his dramatic tone, said, "What do we have here? A golden ticket!"

Felly nodded. "That's going to be a challenge, but i will do my best for it to success."

he handed a paper to Dremo, ther it is what i write.

Dremo took a moment to read it. Then he said, "How was that even possible… in the name of the Toaster of Dreams? Seriously how?"

Felly smiled. "Come on, it's not that bad isn't it."

"We wrote almost the same things," Dremo said in disbelief.

"Really? How?" Felly asked that possible.

Libby walked in, chuckling. "They're getting along. Same writing style. As they said the crazy minds think alike."

Dremo grinned. "Let's go now hurry up felly."

He took a small metal rock from his coat and threw it on the ground.

Four small, muscular cat statues show up —each made of shining metal—sprang to life. Each one went to a different corner of the hall.

Each one began moving in its own unique style, like it was living.

"They've been training so well," Felly said with pride Looking at the cats.

Dremo watched. "They sure have a lot of time to waste that's all …"

A glowing line suddenly linked the statues together. Then a portal opened.

Dremo said, "It's the first hope-based golden ticket we've seen in a long time. We need to make it perfect dremo added on his dramatic tone."

Felly asked, "Why don't we get more golden tickets based on hope anymore we get a lot golden ticket why all that?"

Libby replied, "These days, the connection between people isn't strong as it used to be ."

Dremo agreed. "People don't hope well for others unless they get something back these days. It's always like this, 'I hope good things for you… but what's in it for me?'"

Felly frowned. "That's stupid. Why do you need a return for every kind act?"

Libby added gently, "People are just a little anxious these times. Maybe they'll understand on the right time Libby added with a smile on his face."

Dremo said, "No, Libby. Just because others have something you don't doesn't mean you have to compete for it. It's like life became a race. And when you're racing others, how can you truly hope the best for them ?"

Felly replied, "They shouldn't race each other at all."

Dremo added on his dramatic tone that all for the sake of the watchers.

Felly agreed but he seems not completely understand that part.

"Good." Dremo nodded. "Let's go then."

They stepped through the portal.

In the City

They appeared in the middle of a street, a big one.

Felly looked around. "What are we doing here?"

Dremo replied, "We need to study them first. Then we can build the perfect dream for them to enjoy."

Felly nodded. "Let's find out what makes them unhappy. Then we'll use that in the golden hope ticket dream as an abstract ."

They watched from across the street, observing people in their daily lives.

After a while of wandering around the street, observing every one, they returned to the field.

Dremo shook his head. "Such short-sighted mindsets…"

"Let's make this dream for the kid and his good hope," Felly said.

Dremo looked at her. "Did we forget something?"

Felly answered quickly, "No. Nothing."

Meanwhile…

Elsewhere, Libby was alone.

"Ah… I guess I go back by myself," he sighed. "They work so well, they forgot how others were looking at them."

He glanced behind him.

"Dogs?" he muttered. "What a way to start the day…"

The Dream Setup

Back at the dream field:

"Let's start," Dremo said.

Catlin entered, holding a clipboard. "The budget is… somewhat affordable," she said, then smiled. "Let's make it."

Act One: The Kids on the Bus

No one was smiling on the bus. No laughter. No joy just nothing.

"Where is he? The actor?" Dremo asked, looking around.

Libby rushed in. "He maybe had an accident!"

Felly arrived with the boy. he knelt and said in a proud tone, "You could save them. Just you need become the legendary Knight of Humor."

The boy tilted his head. "What's a Knight of Humor?"

Felly smiled. "Someone who makes others laugh and smile again, someone return there waisted smile."

At his words, the boy's clothes transformed—shifting into a shining knight's armor with painted smiles all over it .

The boy looked around and said, "Let's defeat the enemy of happiness. Let's start with you first!"

He lifted his sword and walked toward a lonely man on the sidewalk.

The man frowned. "Just a kid in a weird costume just act nicely till he go …"

And He mumbled again, "Let's pretend it's funny and wait for him to go away till i can..."

But the boy raised his sword and pointed.

"I'm a Knight of Humor! And I can see it—that big bug on your shoulder, that dirty big bugs!"

The man froze.

"Is this kid saying I have a bug on my brain what a great job he making?"

The boy swung his sword in the air. Suddenly, a large bug—shaped like a ticking watch—fell off the man's shoulder and onto the ground.

"You've been carrying these bugs on your shoulders and you was feeding them with your thoughts every day for long inf but fear not I'm here know," the boy said in a proud voice tone.

Then he pointed his sword again. "You shouldn't just count time and wait for life to pass. That's not living. That's wasting it don't care a lot of timing."

The man tried to reply, "You don't understa—"

But before he could finish his words, the boy shouted, "The bug wants to defend itself again aren't you had enough of it old man!"

A swarm of bugs appeared.

"Come with me!" the boy called. "I'll help you all remember how to smile just come with me !"

The man looked around. "These bugs are huge…"

"Let's call the—"

Catlin interrupted, walking up cheerfully. "Just go with the flow and enjoy it don't ruins it!"

Everyone followed the boy and smiles on their faces . Dremo and Felly were in the crowd, quietly helping cheering up the audience and getting more dreamers.

The boy slashed at the bugs with his sword, and the crowd joined in, cheering and fighting by his side.

"Hail the Knight! Hail the Knight of Humor!" hai, hail ,hail . the crowd chanted they was full of joy with the boy.

A man rushed forward with a throne.

"My sir knight! Your throne is ready! Sit, and save us all!"

The boy laughed. "You are loyal men—and knights too Mister!"

Catlin asked, "Where'd you get that throne?"

The man replied, "Bought it from that cosplay shop great isn't."

Felly stared. "Beard… muscles… isn't that his father?"

Dremo blinked. "Wait… he is? What a surprise."

Catlin added, "This dream's getting big… and more famous bringing more joys!"

A New Challenger Appears

In the middle of the street, a woman stood tall with a weapon.

Felly pointed. "Who's that?"

Dremo answered, "Every little kid's worst enemy: his mom."

Catlin whispered, "This is getting huge. We've already got a crowd of old men watching to see how it ends."

Dremo agreed, "The old men who love watching kids struggle and failing come on boy do it …"

Dremo and Catlin both shouted: "Go, you can do it kid! Go!"

Libby's Task

In another place, Libby was handling leftover dream bugs.

"I can't believe it. We're out of budget… and Catlin used a wild dream bug? Pessy said let's deal with faster to go and support" he sighed, dealing with another one.

Lippy said go cats go a crowd of cats attacked the bugs.

Back to the Boy

The boy faced his mother.

"But they want to enjoy and smile!" he pleaded.

Before he could finish, his mother shouted, "It's too dangerous! Don't hurt yourself for others' joy your not there dog she said with her serous tone!"

An old man in the crowd started smiling.

Dremo leaned in and whispered in the boy's ear, "You can do it. Make her smile again save her she wanted to be saved."

His father whispered in the other ear, "You can do it, son I'm with you."

The mother looked at the father.

"This is too dangerous! He'll get hurt!"

The boy stood tall.

"You're wearing too much stress, Mom. I'll deal with the bug on your shoulder…"

"Spider bug as i expected want to control everything and planing you entire time!"

He slashed at it—but nothing happened. The spider was too strong .

"It's a real spider dream bug," Libby said from afar.

Catlin sighed. "We didn't have the budget for a stronger weapon…"

She smiled anyway.

Dremo gasped, "That's a big bug ."

Felly asked, "How are we going to deal with it?"

Dremo calmly replied, "We won't."

The mother shouted, "To your room, boy!"

In the middle of his despair, Dremo threw him something.

"Don't give up! Blow that bug away!"

The boy shouted, "But how?! It's too strong for me!"

Catlin suddenly pulled out a large sword. "I bought this earlier. It'll burn the bug down!"

The boy's smile returned.

He took the sword and charged at the spider with all his strength.

Everyone watched—his father, the crowd, even the old man who doubted him they was waiting for the past to return itself but...

He slashed—cutting the spider bug in two.

"You can smile now," he said. "I destroyed the bug that wanted to control everything."

Catlin screamed, "Hail the Knight of Humor!"

The crowd echoed her, chanting, "Hail the Knight of Humor! Hail! Hail!"

Dremo smiled. "Finally. Someone made it… cool."

Felly nodded. "No one's done that in a long time."

Libby added, "We only set the stage. Everything else… is them."

The man in the crowd wiped a tear.

"He did it. When I was a kid, I never made it this far… But I'm happy my son did."

Dremo looked at him. "So… you remembered your dreams?"

The man said softly, "Just now."

Libby nodded. "You're going to forget again."

The man smiled. "But still… my son did it."
