Synopsis

In the pan cosmos (a.k.a. the multiverse), where common sense went on a pub crawl and drowned in the River of Absurditas aeons ago, the Great Pan Cosmic Saga unfolds like a space octopus puffing on a peace pipe. A mysterious “dark forest purge” is sweeping through realities, which is, frankly, rather inconvenient for those still living in them.

Enter Agents Himbo and Big Ham, two macho-nacho, retired boofheads, dragged from blissful obscurity into yet another hero’s journey. Their chaperone? An android with evolving (and increasingly questionable) ethics with a purple time-travelling portable toilet. Along with Bigfoot the bounty hunter, Chief and the Fiction Men, Angus Mono at the helm of the Centennial Plover, and the crew of Rasputin’s Rod (don’t ask), they still probably won’t stand a chance.

Expect cosmic calamities, hardcore temporal fart jokes, and the occasional existential crisis, served on a barbecue plate of Aussie cliché, reckless humour, cheerful anarchy, and enough absurdity to make the laws of physics question its life choices. This is space opera with celestial gods, chainsaws, carbines, and a stiff shot of chaos and calamity.

If you like big ideas tangled with the crudest humour, laced with satire, slapstick, parody, and homage to all things nerdy, The Great Pan Cosmic Saga might just be your next glorious read.
