After a simple extraction mission, Kenneth makes a dire mistake that wipes out his entire team. Left alone and bleeding out, Kenneth has no choice but to pray to a higher being in hopes of getting a second chance at life. Luckily for him, his prayers are answered as he finds himself in the body of a man who has the same name as him!
Now, faced with a strange world he is unfamiliar with, all he can do is follow the previous owners' wishes to enter the infamous military academy Toleran and become a renowned Anchor. The problem is finding a Striker to pair with.
In comes Lucien Saint-James, the captain of the third division and a high-class Striker with whom he has the highest compatibility. The problem is, whenever Lucien is around, he gets this uncontrollable urge to bring him to his knees, not to mention that he doesn’t care for his arrogant attitude either.
Now, Kenneth faces a dilemma. If he ever hopes to make it out of this academy alive and realize the dreams of the original Kenneth, he will have to suck up his pride and learn to hide his urges if he wants to make it out in one piece.
Oh, and did he mention he had to deal with monsters and mystical beasts too?!

Excerpt:
“Kiss me.”
Kenneth blinked. “What—“
“You heard me. Do it. Now.”
Anger flashed in his eyes yet his body moved before his brain could tell him to stop. He reached for the Striker and their lips met.
Kenneth poured his energy into Lucien, filling the barren pit inside his mind, giving him enough juice to keep going.
The two pulled away, and Lucien’s steely eyes met his, holding him in place. “You always look like you hate anchoring me, but then you get that blissful look on your face that screams ‘I want more’. It’s cute.”
Kenneth felt an unbearable urge to slap the smug smile off his face. But since now wasn’t the time to commit acts of violence against his pair. He held himself back.
He would deal with him properly later.
“Eat shit, captain.” Was all he said before sending him off.

A guideverse story with a little twist, hot and cold romance with a whole lot of slow burn (emphasis on burn because the MC refuses to admit his feelings, the stubborn fool).
TW: Trauma, survival’s guilt, and violence
The urge to slap some sense into the MC is strong with this one but I can't help but love them. The ML is lovely and his interactions with the MC is great. Reading about the characters and their antics brings a smile to my face. I can't wait for more. Keep up the great work author. 10/10♥️♥️♥️
Thanks For The Book 😁🥂📖🍾🏁 And Congratulations on getting a Super Gift 🎁📖💝
Okay, so I think I’ve written enough that I can come here and write this shameless review. First thing I want to get out of the way is that this is a guideverse even if the dynamics are called something else and differ in some ways from the usual genre. It takes place in a military-like setting, falls under the transmigration category and is very action heavy. The romance is there, don’t get me wrong, but it’s slow, mostly because of the MC who isn’t all that emotionally intelligent, is very stubborn, in denial and going through things. The trauma is heavy and prevalent in this story and though it’s not at the forefront, it does influence the way Kenneth reacts to things. The relationship between the MC and ML is very push and pull, hot and cold, and very get together already! Damn it! You’ll get frustrated with either the MC or ML. Sometimes you’ll even want to strangle them. That’s fine. It’s the point. People are frustrating as hell haha. Still, I would say it’s worth the read since it depicts “realistic people,” with real feelings and the ups and down that come with relationships of all kinds. You’ll learn a lot from Kenneth’s story and have some moments where you’ll pause and be like wtf is happening right now, and moments where you’ll be able to relate somewhat. Expect to have your patience tested though 😭 So if you like frustrating but capable MCs, MLs who know ball, lots of pining and longing and fighting, give it a read 💕
Hey there! I just wanted to say I really enjoyed reading your story, it’s got that cinematic quality that instantly made me imagine it as a comic. I do freelance commission-based comic work, and your story would translate beautifully into visuals. Would you be open to discussing what that might look like? I’m on Discord (harper_clark) or Instagram (_harperr_) and gmail [email protected]
Hey there, I just read your story, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The way you build scenes feels cinematic, and I kept picturing it as a comic while reading. I’m a professional commissioned artist, and I’d be excited to collaborate with you on a comic adaptation, if you’re interested. I truly think your story would translate beautifully into visual form. You can reach me on Discord (lizziedoesitall) if you’d like to chat further. Best, Lizzie
