This book is absolutely destroying my sleep schedule, and I don’t even care. The way the author blends a gritty mafia plot with dark, almost chaotic supernatural elements is so well done. It shouldn’t work this smoothly, but it really does. The main character has been through so much from the very beginning, so watching her slowly push back and find her strength again is incredibly satisfying 🙂‍↕️ And the MMC is completely unhinged. Terrifying, unpredictable… and somehow still has me fully invested. I’m already way too attached 🫠 Every chapter ends on a cliffhanger that leaves me staring at my screen in disbelief, immediately needing more. I keep refreshing like my life depends on it. And seriously, if you think you can predict where this story is going, you can’t. Just read the first few chapters and try to stop. I dare you.

My only regret reading this story is.... that I started way too early😭 . This novel is absolutely phenomenal. The storyline is so catchy and I'm in love with the characters. The FL is sensible and the ML is just Charismatic. I should have waited for a few more weeks before starting this. So yeah now I have to wait everyday to read further 😭 which is excruciating 🥲. Lots of Love to the amazing author.. so excited to read further.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Author Trimohini has a knack for bringing out emotions and feelings through her words. She presents fresh ideas and twists them in new directions. This is indeed a new take on the Mafia and supernatural genres, blending them to create an intriguing story. FL has had bad luck throughout her life and yet she is strong and never gives up. And I love her bratty mouth. ML although a mafia boss has a moral sense which most of the MLs nowadays lack. He has a soft spot for our FL, which is an endearing quality. Overall I love the writers who try to blend in existing cliché tropes and bring something new to the table and not write the same old same old. Good job Trimohini, wishing you best of luck.

This book kills me, my sleep becomes so little since I start reading it. Regret to have started it too soon and I am stuck with this dark romance story now! But who does not like a twist of normality in a little fantasy devilish mafia world?

Exactly my vibe all over. I love the angst, the red flags, the strong leads, it's just - mwah! - chef's kiss. I love the writing style and pacing too, things that need breathing room get it, it's very well done unlike some faster paced novels that move too quickly through needed character development and set up.
