Interesting idea. Not executed well. Also super nationalist — characterizing all other countries people as immoral, incompetent and arrogant. Anything benefiting their country is good for the world while anything benefiting anyone from other countries is a great evil for the world. I typically have a high tolerance for nationalism but at many points in this novel even I find it too absurd. MC is super stingy with others unless they are his people. Everyone’s only real desire is food and for some 1 hobby so characters feel a little too flat. Also author dropped it before completion.

its a great novel , great story but the nationalism just kills it ,a certain amount is tolerable but this is too much for me

The sexism and nationalism are sucky as usual, and the main character was in a pool at the gym but doesn’t know how to swim? Was this supposed to be a bad comedy?

I love the book. This is the second one on this app that I keep investing time into reading. I can't wait for the next update.

The premise is interesting and started out well enough, but then further into the story past the free chapters it goes heavy into nationalist themes, describing anyone from another nation as amoral and corrupt. The "other nations" are obvious allegories to Japan, Korea, US. The characters are also super condescending to almost everyone else, sometimes even their own teammates.
