Truly an excellent book, I’m happy I started reading it. The MC is smart, ruthless and kind when needed. He is not handed power gratuitously (exept maybe the third SSS rank reward, that felt a bit cheap), but has to work for every step. The power system is also wll thought-out and defined, and we discover it together with the MC. Story is great until now, as well as pacing. Definitely a recommended read.

Man the system is unbearably cringe and annoying probably in the top 3 most unnecessary and annoying sentiment or just shitty Ai system ever
The story obviously has many similarities with 'hell difficulty tutorial' novel, but I prefer this one over the hell difficulty tutorial because that novel had pacing issues for me and it was just not able to scratch my itch of magic world progression. except for some of the peak moments rest of the part felt mundane and dragging to me. This novel however, fulfills and does better than HDT in innovation and creativity of spells, for me at least. Mc explores new spells or delves deeper into the mana usage within a few paragraphs, unlike hell difficulty, where chapters are wasted on explaining the modifications or exploration mc did. Spells too are niche, and simple rather than hell diff where mc still did not have any affinity related magic even after like 400 chapters. I am not saying that one is bad but I like this much better, this novel still falls short on the peak moments and plot twists tho, hell difficulty obviously had done a greater job in that department. I just hope the author does something great with this novel rather than making it another power fantasy. Reading extra's son, I expect twists and dense plot here too.

could have settled it to 0 stars if possible Why mc had to babysit those people, cant he be lone wolf ? why would he need to endangered himself by going into that dungeon, is he braindead? and author tried to justify it with some bs, from my pov the whole shit rotates around mc and his body refinement shit its too much to follow up, if you read chapter 1 and skip to chap 25 trust me you wont be missing anything put except the bs skills and people joining his team lol NOTE- Retarded MC

Really enjoying this so far. Pacing drags a bit, power upgrades alone take a few chapters to sort out, but it doesn’t feel wasted, more like the author’s setting things up properly. If it keeps going this direction, it’s easily a banger. Can’t wait to see how this one ends🥳

Its an novel by failed, so of course its deserves a 5 star. Wonder how many novels, he is planning to write at his point. Oh well, the more novels the better.
