Love it! Reading this feels like riding a bike—you just keep going and don’t even realize how much time has passed until you finally stop. When I’m looking for a book to read, there are a few things I look for, but the absolute first thing I check is the chapter count and update frequency, and this book has both in spades. Bonus points for the novel actually being well-written and avoiding all that Chinese young master garbage. Overall, it’s a great read: well-written, realistic, and with excellent world-building. It doesn’t feel overly rushed, either, which is another huge plus.

to be honest it gets complicated too quickly and sometimes is genuinely hard to follow along with the story, also him being part Chinese just makes it harder to read especially the way, although subtle he doesn't integrate with black culture despite having lived there for years, also his relationship with women feels unnecessary and forced with certain characters, but a genuinely good premise.
