Hellfire Ramparts were probably the 1st Instance Dungeon that players would enter in the Outland.

The Hellfire Ramparts were a constructed flank of Hellfire Citadel, situated in the center of the Hellfire Peninsula. It was mostly inhabited by Fel Orcs of the Shattered Hand. Vazruden and his Nether Dragon mount Nazan were the commanders here. These were ramparts not just in name but in reality. As you progressed through the Instance Dungeon, you would realise that this was simply just a part of the giant wall of Hellfire Citadel.

What Lu Li and his team were exploring was the area around the outside.

Actually, they didn't need Lu Li to protect them or anything. Regardless of whether it was Remnant Dream or Hachi Chan, both were able to fight. Remnant Dream could summon her pet, knock her bow and deal with two monsters by herself.

All Hachi Chan needed to do was heal Lu Li and Remnant Dream.
