Chapter 607: 9 Human Immortals Gather Here

Flaming Mountain stretches 240 kilometers from north to south and 300 kilometers from east to west, only taking a few hours by car.

The ghostly imps in the northern part are Ancient Mythical Beasts of the Human Immortal state, flying across the sky, it doesn't take much time at all to reach the southernmost point.

The south borders Bayin State, separated by a primal landscape with vast grassy meadows and rivers, scattered with two or three small villages, and a small military base.

Once a flourishing paradise, now struck by a demonic calamity. The sky is covered in a thick layer of haze, the scorching air stifling and unbearable.

Large swathes of meadow have withered into sand, and the rivers are barely surviving, like clueless children urinating irregularly on sandy soil—narrow, shallow, turbid, and foul-smelling.

Even so, the river areas are rapidly shrinking, sandy banks piling up on either side, swelling, soon to fully engulf them.
