Jingdou's nights were always heavy, particularly in such cold winter days. There were not many people walking on the streets after night fell. Actually, it there were absolutely no people. There were no pedestrians. There were only nightwalkers.

Who knew how many nightwalkers were using the cover of darkness to hide in the streets, alleys, and under the eaves in Jingdou using nooses, sharp knives, metal drills, chains on doors, and powder to ensnare people's necks, slice open their throats, rip through someone's body, and confuse somebody's eyes.
