The Dark Treant is a type of Treant, but what sets it apart from most Treants is that it's immobile and can only attack with its tendrils, having a range of thirty yards. Due to its immunity to magic and high physical defense, regular crossbow arrows deal very little damage to it, making it difficult for the average player to handle. Only a warrior could stand up to it. But the Dark Treant's entangle ability also had a binding effect, so most teams would simply detour around it unless they had a sufficiently powerful crossbow to shoot it dead.
