If it weren’t for the little money he made by selling off items in Conviction, he would’ve barely been able to eat. In the end, he chose to settle his matters once and for all. He assassinated his father’s enemy. He lay dying shortly after being shot in the pursuit.

However, that wasn’t the end of his story. Instead, he awoke moments later to find that he had reincarnated into his past-self. Armed with his experience and knowledge of future events, he sets out to live his life anew.

The Holy Mercenaries had already been used just now; Nie Yan wasn't sure whether those three Rock Astrologers would leave the Sacrificial Star Platform. If they could be lured away, then there would be no choice but to sacrifice the Golden Earth Dragon. The death of the Golden Earth Dragon would result in a loss of loyalty that would take a long time to recover. However, if he could obtain Finas' Poison Sac, sacrificing some of the Golden Earth Dragon's loyalty would be worth it.


Nie Yan retreated about two to three hundred yards away and summoned the Golden Earth Dragon. After planning for a bit, he began his operation to seize Finas' Poison Sac.


He entered Cloaking and stealthily approached from a distance, arriving at the northern side of the Sacrificial Star Platform while slowly directing the Golden Earth Dragon to approach the platform from the south.
