If it weren’t for the little money he made by selling off items in Conviction, he would’ve barely been able to eat. In the end, he chose to settle his matters once and for all. He assassinated his father’s enemy. He lay dying shortly after being shot in the pursuit.

However, that wasn’t the end of his story. Instead, he awoke moments later to find that he had reincarnated into his past-self. Armed with his experience and knowledge of future events, he sets out to live his life anew.

He then jumped down from the top of the cabinet, landed quietly, and stealthily made his way to the tent's entrance. He lifted the flap and peered outside. The two squads of Bloodshadow Warriors had moved off into the distance. Relieved, he stepped out and continued cloaking himself towards the center of the Bloodshadow Legion's stronghold. The round building with the golden dome appeared before Nie Yan's eyes.


In front of the building, there was a spacious square where Bloodshadow Warriors occasionally practiced. To obtain the design plans for the Frost Armored Catapult, he would need to enter the round golden-domed building. The security in the vicinity was extremely tight, presenting a considerable challenge for Nie Yan.
