Nie Yan remembered, after Hilton Stronghold experienced a siege by monsters, the battle between the NPC residents and the demonic forces here lasted a grueling five days before ending. Following the conflict, many NPCs of Hilton Stronghold were lost, and by the time players started entering the fortress, Hilton Stronghold was filled with ruins and rubble. It was the players who took over the defense of the city, becoming the main force against the monsters.


The NPCs here wore strange outfits, donning peculiar items like scales as armor. Due to the frequent attacks by underground monsters every year, the NPCs used the scales harvested from the corpses of these creatures to craft their armor, and the varied sizes of the scales gave them an odd appearance.


Nie Yan asked some NPCs around and learned that the whereabouts of High General Breckspier were elusive; he would often venture into underground caves to hunt demons and only return after a long time had passed.
