The Dark Elf tribe is quite prosperous, with patrols of the Dark Elf Guard Squad moving back and forth on the streets, each squad numbering up to a hundred. They're fully armed, wielding various weapons as Mages, Great Thieves, warriors, and other distinct professions.


Nie Yan's gaze swept over the faces of these Dark Elves. Their appearance somewhat resembled regular dark elves, but without the fair skin. Their grey-black skin was dull and lusterless, and their leather armour bore a black moon insignia.


In the history of Conviction, Dark Elves are seen as traitors. They abandoned the goddess of the moon's faith and became servants of demons. In the war for the Tree of Life, they were expelled, their numbers drastically reduced, with some fleeing underground and others scattered across the Atlanta continent, perpetually hunted by the White Elf tribe.


Nie Yan silently dodged these patrolling Dark Elves, weaving his way through rows of low, dilapidated houses.
