The next course of action for Ling Jian was not to begin listening to what they were talking about below, but to remain motionless where he was, immediately working on recuperation! Having pushed his movement techniques to such an extreme, his face was already a pale white as a result of overexertion. If he didn't recuperate immediately, not only might he fail to obtain any information, but he would even risk being found out because of his heavy breathing!
