Wang Yu

In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

"Master Nan's most beloved granddaughter?"


Upon hearing Da Zhi's words, Zhu Chi and the bell-surnamed Daoist nun exchanged glances, both revealing a wry smile.


Liu Ming, who was beside them, listened with curiosity, not knowing who this "Master Nan" they spoke of truly was.


When Yu Cheng saw that the young girl was unharmed, he was surprised but not discouraged. He immediately started murmuring incantations, and with a raise of his hands, he sent out two green wind blades, followed by a lunging punch straight towards the young girl.


Seeing this, the girl opposite him did not urge on the Puppet python; instead, she snorted coldly. The bamboo-yellow round shield and the red talisman in her hands disappeared in a blur, replaced by several yellow talismans. With a flicker in the wind, six fireballs shot out in a string.


Yu Cheng, seeing this, was shocked and panic-stricken, but it was already too late to dodge.
