In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

And at that moment, the three purple-red fireballs behind Liu Ming exploded uncontrollably with a "boom," the rolling flames spreading in all directions.


Liu Ming's face flashed with a fierce expression, but instead of paying attention to the flames behind him, his figure leaped forward, closing the distance to the half-Jiao monster. With another movement of his short sword, six or seven hazy sword lights swept out. At the same time, there was a whistling sound from his sleeve, and a black chain sprang out due to a flick of his wrist.


Although the half-Jiao monster was in excruciating pain, it shook its shoulder at the sight of this and tried to utilize its speed to dodge Liu Ming's attack.


But just then, with two "pff" sounds, two giant turtles shot out like lightning, catching the monster off-guard and successfully trapping its two legs, while at the same time, more than a dozen black threads shot out from the ground, piercing through one of its big thighs in a flash.
